The millennial faces social problem such as stereotype that this generation is lazy, self-absorbed, and entitled. This is also further enhanced by the case that older generation observes Millennial generation are not following the pathway; older generation had set and defined it as “transition to adulthood.” Expecting to complete each step in the pathway by a certain age in chronological order at a specific age is how they defined “success.” In the movie “The Millennial Dream” narrates a story revolving around the issue about how Millennial have changed from the older generation and the values of an older generation have reformed and taken another shape. This shift from industrial to post-industrial era also factored in a new attitude in the economy which is, success in the new economy is less about the type of product or service that is offered by the business but rather why the business is in business in the first place. For usage of example BEAU’S which is a prime example of business in the new economy in the crowded marketing of craft beer it stands out above all other due to the company’s uniqueness such as being made as organic, supporting charity, and assisting the environment. In addition to showing dissatisfaction in them not following the pathway to the transition to adulthood where they would expect the millennial to go to college, getting a “stable job”, owning a house, getting married, and having children. In that particular order by a specific age just like they have done so. But, in fact, some are just unaware that this may not be possible for most of them due to the major change in society, in terms of going to college no longer guarantees a job. Job nowadays also prospect for unique characteristic among job seekers that makes them stand out above all applicants in addition to the knowledge that they had acquired from education. Since this had become the case naturally millennial had developed a new value in contrast to the previous generation that allows them to develop a mindset that can allow them to survive to the condition they’re being handed
