CHAPTER 2
LITERATURE REVIEW
2.1 Introduction
The case study is the motion capture analysis in three dimension (3D) that used for individually coaching aid. Hence, the literature review was explained by three main topics. The first topic is a review on motion capture analysis of human body from the previous works or researches that related with the case study. Some example of any available developed software or human body motion analysis that almost similar with the case study will be compared in this topic. Second main topic is about engineering mechanics of human motion analysis. In this topic, the human body’s motion were describes and relates referring on the kinetics, kinematics, dynamics, and biomechanics analysis. Another sub

Kinematics also could be describe as the movement regardless of the forces that generates movement. Therefore, velocity and acceleration are excluded in the discussion kinematic geometry. While Kinetics is defines as the relationship between the forces that act on a body and the motion of the body. A particle is a body whose size does not affect its response to the forces that act on it.
The entire kinematic system could be illustrated by modelling the human body as a system with segment as shown in Figure 2.4 and determining the kinematics of individual body segments. This segment represent as rigid bodies of the human body model in the study. Geometry of the kinematics that can be known is the velocity and the angular acceleration or the centre of body mass, angular velocity and angular acceleration of the body itself, and all the relatives for fixed or inertial frame

Scientists and professionals implemented the biomechanics principles in a lot of fields, research, and problems that related to human health and performance analysis. Analysis of human motion may be either quantitative or qualitative. Quantitative implies the numbers are involved while qualitative refers to a description of quality regardless the use of numbers. Both quantitative and qualitative descriptions play important roles in the biomechanics analysis of human motion.
2.3.4 MATLAB Software
MATLAB stands for Matrix Laboratory. It is an interactive program or computing language that focuses on the array of numbers to process or illustrated the data. Various data values are collectively and known by the single name and organized into rows and columns. The Math Works Incorporated developed the software with a variety of applications. MATLAB programs execute MATLAB programming language. It provides a library of functions that have been assigned to make technical programming tasks easier and more
Helps to call the input and output statements. Helps to call some standard library files. Helps in string computations. Defines the time for computations Helps in character
It is a logic optimization used to reduce the area of complex logic in integrated circuits, thus making the circuit more efficient, which is
It allows the user to interact with the computer in a sophisticated way such as managing files.
This new development made it possible to detect errors faster and easier than before. It also was a much more
Body Cameras Don 't Work If They Are Not Worn or Not Turned On After Michael Brown, the unarmed black teen who was shot in Ferguson, Missouri, America made it known that we want police officers to wear body cameras. Police Departments responded by saying they want officers to wear body cameras, too. So, if everybody wants the officers to wear body cameras why are there still so many incidents of questionable conduct that are not recorded? According to the Huffington Post, only 2 of the 27 large U.S. cities looked at had all of their officers equipped with body cams.
Are body cameras an invasion of privacy to the officers and to the public? Do they help when civilians make false accusations against officers? These are the types of questions that are frequently asked about body cameras. In today 's society, many citizens believe that the use of body cameras is in invasion of privacy, while others think they can be really helpful.
Michael Brown, an unarmed black teenager, was shot and killed on August 9, 2014 by Darren Wilson, a white police officer, in Ferguson, Missouri. The shooting prompted protests. When it was announced that Officer Wilson would not be indicted, the announcement set off another wave of protests. Not all police officers are dishonest and abuse their power but It 's obvious that today 's community of people has a suspicion of officers true intentions. The idea of cops and cameras has been around for a while but ever since the fatal shooting of Michael Brown the debate on whether police officers should be required to wear body cameras has been the center of attention.
The 20 athletes were comprised of 17 men and 3 women ranging from the ages of 18-30 years old (Christakou, Zervas, & Lavallee, 2007). The sports in which the ankle injuries occurred were volleyball, basketball, mini-soccer, long jump, gymnastics, and judo. The 20 athletes were then divided in to two groups at random consisting of the control and the experimental group. In the control group there were nine men and one woman.
There have been many complaints about if body cameras on police officers will work or not. There are two people that have different opinions that other people that think body cameras will stop police brutality against police officers. William N. Grigg, and Joshua Krause these people think body cameras on police officers will not work, and will not stop or decrease the violence from police officers. Grigg’s argument is Their arguments are that the officers from the SDPD forgot to turn on their body cameras while on duty. A crime that happened in April, Officer Neal Browder fatally shot a 31-year-old man named Fridoon Zalbeg Rawshannehad, who had been suspected of carrying a knife.
Nursing and kinesiology are two different professions that involve the aspects of the body. However, nursing is a practice that involves the care for the ill or weak, which is includes attending to the pain of their patients. On the other hand, kinesiology focuses on the mechanism of the body. The two fields present examples that put them both in the category of health science, but distinctions of styles are evident between the two.
It is becoming more important for law enforcement officers (LEOs) to have video recordings of civilian contacts recorded from their own perspectives. Many times critical incidents happen out of range of the vehicle cameras. Just like most things in life, technology has found a way to make advancements in everything we do. Advancements in law enforcement are of no exception. Technology has put cameras in squad cars and now on our officers, but unlike vehicle-mounted cameras, the body-worn cameras travel with officers.
Sports medicine can be broken down into many different
Merriam Webster 's Dictionary and other references defines kinesics as a study of body movements for it came from the word kinesis which means movement. Method This paper used survey as a method to find out what functions it plays base from why an individual is doing it or not. The subjects were composed of 25 students from the University of the Philippines Baguio regardless of their year and gender.
It relies on sets of numbers stored in electromagnetic format used to create representations and simulations that correspond to material performance and to map out built
The athlete and the manufactures should have a high knowledge of physics, because all sports involve motion, mass, energy and gravity. Human internal and external forces and movement are essential for all sports. Many athletes, studies theirs internal and external movement and forces, in motion or in rest. Since, it helps to identify the best method to perform an action. Consequently, the study that deals with human movement, including internal and external forces that are in effect of motion or rest is called Sports Biomechanics.
