Medicinal plants:
Medicinal Plants have been used from antiquated times to Endeavour cures for several diseases and to relive physical suffering. Antiquated people all had some knowledge of medicinal plants and their functional properties (Nazim et al., 2012). Oftentimes these primitive attempts at medicine were based on superstition and speculation. Evil spirits in the body were thought to be the cause of medical problems. They could be driven out of the body through the use of poisonous or disagreeable plant substances that rendered the body a disagreeable habitat. Medicine men or women of a tribe were usually charged with knowledge of such plants. The progress of medicine has often been guided by the earlier observations and beliefs. The plants contain several medicinal activities and rich source of medicinal ingredients which can be used as drug development for humankind. Not all the plants having same medicinal property because each plant major and minor compounds are different owing to their set of program of DNA and the major controlling mechanism in DNA control the entire plants activation and suppression via protein signaling (Asim et al., 2004).
