Organizing – Organizational Culture Organizational culture consists of the set of shared, taken-for-granted implicit assumptions that a group holds in the workplace (Kinicki & Williams 226). The Publix Corporation formally states its commitment to its organizational culture in their published mission statement. One of the bullet points of the Publix mission is dedication “to the dignity, value and employment security of our associates” ("Mission Statement & Guarantee"). It is the founder’s values that drive an organization’s culture (Kinicki & Williams 227).
I was grateful for the heightened parental support provided to Cashmire throughout the school
The Importance of a Company’s Culture The culture of a company is one of the most important and sometimes overlooked factors in an organization. The culture can increase employee engagement and increase productivity which will allow a company to reach its goals, “From productivity and engagement in the organization’s day-to-day, to an employer brand that naturally fuels recruiting efforts, to creating a lasting brand that customers immediately recognize, there’s no escaping it – culture radiates outward into the marketplace” (Straz 2015). The culture can have a great impact on the employees. Employees thrive in a positive working environment and the ability to engage with their managers without fear of retaliation.
Also I believe that this school has also helped me to know what path to go on in my journey of becoming an engineer. This school has helped me learn what courses that I should take as well as what path to go in when it comes to being an engineer. I really enjoy engineering and I hope that when I grow up I will be able to reach my goal of becoming a biomedical engineer. I believe that when I become a biomedical engineer I would be able to create things for people all over the

Knowledge management is a process to ensure that knowledge developed through individuals and group work activities is effectively captured and made available to those who may benefit from it. An example would be to build into project plans the time for review and to identify at the outset how information, knowledge and experience will be captured, stored and shared with other individuals and/or areas of the organisation that may have an interest in the experience and knowledge gained as a result of the project. The importance and value of knowledge management has been brought into sharper focus in the current climate of financial constraint and the need to do more with
