Self Deception Literature Review
Introduction
For this Chapter 2, there is only one section which reveals the several of literature review from the different journal article paper that related to self-deception.
As information, most of the journal here are the latest one but still there is certain good article which come from an early 20s but it still good enough and informative to be choose as references while designing this experiment. Roughly, most of the journals are from year 2005 and above.
2.2 Studies on Self Deception

the research were tested to investigates the relationship between Self-Deception and variables associated with anti-sociality in the general population for example like mating effort, antisocial thinking, psychopathy and personality and also to seek and provide and evolutionary explanation for how Self-Deception might influence antisocial thinking. The sample comprised 95 of adult participant (33 males, 62 females) recruited via convenient sampling. For procedure, one hundred and forty questionnaires involving the Paulhus Deception Scales (PDS), The NEO-Five Factor Inventory-Revised (NEO-FFI-R), The Psychological Inventory of Criminal Thinking Styles (PICTS), The Self-Report Psychopathy Scale (LSRP) and The Mating Effort Scale (MES) were distributed over a three-month period to the entire …show more content…
Basically, the main objective of this study is to measure the correlation between an Interpersonal Self Deception and Personality. So, the participant that took part in this research study was 30 participants with 24 female and 6 male. The participant will be divided into three groups. Structured questionnaire were administered individually but simultaneously to each member of three groups of students in their living quarters at University of Texas.
