Jatupong Mora (2002) did the research to investigate the students’ learning styles, the teachers’ teaching styles, the congruence between learning and teaching styles, and the relationship of the congruence between learning and teaching styles to the English language achievement. The subjects in his study were 98 fifth-year students and 2 teachers at Songkhla Business Administration College. He used the Learning Style Questionnaire, the Teaching Style Questionnaire, and the students’ scores in two courses as the instruments in his study. This study revealed that analytic learning style with the highest mean (3.8418) was strongly preferred learning style. In addition, only one learning style among twelve learning styles preference was individual learning style with the lowest mean (1.9235). For teaching

582 higher secondary schools students were participants of this research. The Perceptual Learning Style Preference Questionnaire was adapted by the researcher for collecting data. The results of this study were divided by learning style categories (visual, auditory, group, individual and kinesthetic), gender, locality and school board. For learning style categories, the researcher sorted the data based on students’ preference from most to least: visual learning style, auditory learning style, group learning style, individual learning style and kinesthetic learning style. Gender, homeland and board of school had no effect on learning style preferences of students. Male students who live in the country area and study in the state board of school and female students who live in city and study in matriculation schools are favored visual learning

Every student is unique and learns better from different techniques. Some students are visual learners and others are verbal learners. In most cases students prefer certain subject fields over others. For instance, I love learning about math and science but I don’t really care for social studies.
Our hypothesis is that girls to do a little bit better than boys because normally boys care less about rules than girls do. We also expect freshmen to do better than sophomores, because sophomores have already a brief look on high school, and freshmen are still really new to this setting. This will be verified after all recordings have been compared. All videos will be analyzed and compared by the same group of students. Our experimental study will be ethical because a letter explaining the procedures of videotaping has been assigned to all students attending the school at the beginning of the year..
While other countries exclusively educated upper-class males, Mann wanted to educated students in a diverse setting. Students of different social, economic, religious, and ethnic backgrounds were all integrated together. These students were taught a curriculum that Mann designed to “prepare people for practical life and citizenship, including reading, writing, spelling, arithmetic, history, geography, health, music, and art” (Gutek, 107). Today, many of Mann’s educational principles are still in place.
Schooling for the students Schooling systems have been the same since anyone could remember. What might need to change for students to get the equal amount of education as the “gifted” students? Will students still benefit from the lack of renewal in the education system? According to the authors from chapter 4 "How We Learn" Alfie Kohn, John Taylor Gatto, Bell Hooks, and Kristina Rizga, explaining in their essays published in "Acting Out Culture" by James S. Miller.
Writing process is difficult to realize since it requires a lot of skills and knowledge. Definitely, not many of us can start writhing right away without having any problems such as grammar, vocabulary or organization. However, a person can become a better writer if he or she will practice writing every day and will pay attention to his writing problems. To become a good writer, I have to improve my grammar, follow specific steps in writing process, and avoid using similar transitional words. Grammar is the number one problem in the writing process and causes me a lot of issues.
3. Accommodating style (Lose-Win) Accommodating in negotiations is the opposite of competing. This means that unlike in competitive negotiations in which parties involved are only concerned with winning, in accommodative negotiations, relationship building is more important than winning. This is a style mostly used by the Brazilians.
This essay explains how to develop learning, teaching and assessment strategies to support the student to achieve a successful outcome. Cassidy & Kreitne (2009) defines learning styles as a range of contested and competing theories that account for variations in a person 's’ education. There are three main learning styles, the visual learners, auditory and kinesthetic learners. Visual learners mainly learn through seeing. They exhibit visual skills that are demonstrated in writing, reading, painting, sketching, manipulating images, fixing, interpreting visual images, have a good sense of direction and also create visual analogies and metaphors.
Pupils do not all learn the same technique or method. That is why it is important to have many methods of teaching in the classroom. In order for a student to understand. Culture and Diversity in Classrooms Today As more students from diverse backgrounds populate 21st century classrooms, learning has shifted towards another direction. Today’s
Teaching methods differ in terms of approach which as observed relate more to procedures which influence inner coherence, produce specific educational effects. The traditional approach embodies two, namely: (a) the didactic method, also called the directive or autocratic style, which is based on logo-centrism and an instructor-centred approach. Its focus is the teacher, who explains the logical and practical aspects of the issue or topic; secondly, (b) the dialectic method. In this approach, students are involved in the learning process and are expected to ask questions; thirdly, (c) The heuristic or research method. This method makes students the protagonists of their learning process, since they must find, guided by the instructor, and through research and experimentation, the solutions to the problems.
Learning style is a way to see how did each one of us learn visual,auditory,reading/writing or kinesthetic learners. Each one of us has different way of learning and understanding. It could be Visual: by seeing the thing that they want to learn , it could be auditory: by listing, or also it could be reading/ writing or Kinesthetic and this by touching and learning how things works. Sometimes we need to teach ourselves and learn from our mistake we make. Each person will need to teach themselve .
This will also help me, so I can modify my teaching method or identify who needs
Digital learning has various effects on the academic performance of the students and this digital learning can help the students to improve their performance in the classroom. Digital learning really makes the students work easier. Because of this, the students may have an advanced knowledge by easily searching their lesson using this technology. With this digital technology, it gives more information to the students to gain more knowledge about their school works. There are lots of technology that were integrated into the classroom that help the students learn with comfort, and that allows the student to gain and recall more information.
This is attributed to boys’ attitude towards learning a foreign language. For boys, a foreign language subject is traditionally for women (Clark, 1995); thus, creating conflict between performed masculinities and language practice (Carr & Pauwels, 2006). Foreign or second language acquisition is also known to depend on the teaching approach of the educator. Some educational experts suggest that a natural approach is the most effective way of teaching. As opposed to rote learning, where students are asked to memorize words and focus on structures and rules, the natural approach is a process of learning that focuses more on language comprehension and terminology usage so that they can be used in communication (Terrel & Krashen, 1983).
TRADITIONAL TEACHING METHODS TO TEACH WITHN THE CONTEXT OF HIGHER EDUCATION Teaching methods refers to the general principles, pedagogy and management strategies used to classroom instruction. The choice to teaching methods depends on what fits educational philosophy, classroom demographic, subject area and school mission statement. The teaching theories can be arrangement into four categories and based on two major parameters- a teacher centred approach versus and a student –centred approach, and high tech material use versus low-tech material use. TEACHER-CENTRED APPROACH TO LEARNING Taken to its most extreme interpretation, teachers are the main figure in a teacher-centred instruction model.
