1. HOSPITALS: Number of hospital admissions for conditions that could be effectively treated through outpatient care per 500 patients

2. MALLS / MAIN STREETS: Number of shopping places within 5-8 km (higher values are better)

3. MULTIPLEXES/MOVIE HALLS/THEATRES: Number of these within 12-15km(higher values are better)

4. SCHOOLS: Number of Schools located within a 5km (higher values are better)

5. COLLEGES/UNIVERSITIES: Number of colleges located within 10-15km

6. HOTELS (3-STAR AND ABOVE): Number of 5 star hotels located within 25 km and Number of 4 and below located within 15km(higher values are better)

• The actual numbers for each parameter is found out using the data collected. The bucket is created and the relative ranking is found against each parameter. Finally the holistic score is calculated using the weightages. • Each parameter gives a wide range of scope to estimate the score and hence determine the Livability Index.

• Respective percentage values are associated with each parameter.

• The various factors under each parameter is also discussed and their equivalent percentage score is been calculated.
