Ronald P. Bucca A hero is a person who puts themselves in danger for others. Heroic acts can range from small gestures or actions to saving countless lives. Heros are known for their outstanding achievements and bravery. Ronald P. Bucca is a hero because he was brave, loyal, and courageous and is willing to sacrifice. Ronald Bucca was a true hero on 9/11 because of the people he had saved on that day.
The games frustrated and embarrassed Hitler enough that he took action in the worst possible way. For Jesse Owens, he became a nationally known figure and became very popular for his running skills. The New York Mets even took notice and hired Owens as a running coach (Christopher Klein, section 9). People will remember the 1936 Berlin Olympic games forever. Hitler’s attempt to create positive propaganda that promoted his Aryan race had a major set back after men like Jesse Owens came in snatching gold medals from many different events and competitions.
Zamperini set many various records for his high school track team. He had then received a scholarship for his outstanding achievements in track. Louis dealt with much bullying at his school because he was unable to speak English fluently. In the early 1930’s, Louis Zamperini had started his education, and continued to stay educated until he graduated from the University of Southern California in 1940, where he used his scholarship he received when he set a mile record of 4.21.2 minutes during the championships of a race. Throughout the early years of Zamperini’s life, he had about eight years of education.

The story of Louis Zamperini is one of my favorites. It is an amazing story about an American hero. The obstacles Louis has faced in his lifetime are unthinkable. He has endured a crazy amount of pain but has never given up. He is a great role model for kids because he can teach people to keep pushing forward.
They described Beowulf in the story as a perfect hero. He was strong, and outstanding fighter and very loyal to all who came into his presence. Beowulf was a marvelous person who considered helping everyone. The story gives examples and clues of his great courage and of his great strength. Beowulf took on so many things and defeated it all.

In it, it showed his childhood where he was a troublemaker then he was told by his brother to start running. After running for years he goes to the Olympics and was the first American which was unexpected. He then joined the Army and was captured and held in a prisoner of war camp.

Joe and his teammates, who he became very close and good friends with, had to work together precisely in pursuit of winning the gold medal. His teammates also struggled with life in the past, outside of the Olympics. Some of his teammates included working class men who were in poverty, just as Joe. I believe Joe and the others who were on his team won because of the dedication they put forth and how they all related to each other in similar ways. The fearful beginnings they all had motivated them to do their very best in the end.

After high school, Dwight worked at the Belle Springs Creamery with his father and Uncle, the money he earned helped pay for some of Edgar college expenses. In 1911, Dwight scheduled an appointment at the United States Military Academy in West Point, New York, where later he played football for them and was a huge star on the team until a knee injury ended his hopes.
