Mark &Spencer for achieving its goals and for making their performance more effective they are following three business strategies which have been shown in the table :
Building up value for the products This strategy focuses on bringing up new skills and techniques in a urge of adding value to the product.
To invest in the environment This means making the environment of the stores a pleasant one in order to achieving higher of the sales which means higher productivity
Good customer service It focuses on providing good customer service it is one of the mark &Spencer important priority they are making it possible by providing improved skills ,good communications etc. which will directly leads to good customer services.
Here training and development activities are line with that of business strategies because these strategies are drive for achieving competencies, technical skills .these strategies help the employees in achieving their goals and objectives necessary for performing business
