First, BTB allows me to serve as a mentor, encouraging and aiding men who seek the same success I was desperate to find. By helping them, I also give back to the community. In addition, BTB empowers me to share my faith in a practical way, showing others the key that has changed my life. Moreover, helping others has enriched my own life. I have learned from those I have served and have developed respect for their commitment and courage.

These phrases were exemplified throughout the meeting I went to because many members insinuated that sobriety is their number one priority. Moving forward, participants indicated that “fake it until you make it” means they should follow the principles of AA until they become genuine. Lastly, “think it through” means consider the possible consequences of your actions and “One day at a time” means do not get hung-up on the future more so than the present day. These phrases may be interrupted differently between members but overall they are meant to compliment the 12 steps of AA.

Mr. roger expressed his desire to have a relationship and family. However, he must satisfy his physiological and security needs, prior to getting in a relationship. The next level in the hierarchy of needs is self-esteem. Mr. Roger must gain some confidence in himself. In order to find love and happiness he needs to gain positive feelings towards himself.

Being a leader requires skills in the department of teamwork. A person should communicate with their peers on the task-at-hand. Said person should be clear when giving instructions and always help people that may not have understood. He or she should make sure that there are no problems or concerns.
Throughout their lives, individuals tend to act a certain way to ensure their morals will be carried on, even when they are gone. Before I spoke with my employees I thought about WWJD, what would Jesus do? I knew Jesus would be patient with his employees and discuss the issues they were having. I decided to set up individual meetings with the employees in order to grasp the real reason behind their frustration. I reassured to my employees that I cared about their feeling and that I wanted to create positive working relationships. While being a Procurement manager, I always focus on Luke 6:31 “Do to others as you would have them do to you” I would not want anyone to treat me unfair or rude because they had power.
