I have multiple expectations of the Center Leader course. Such as learning to propperly communicate, manage and lead a center to success while accomplishing the mission. I also expect to gain the basic knowlege needed for appropriate recruiting center operations. I understand that the Center Leader course is a course guided by instituional learning. How ever, I beleive that the knowledge gained from the persoanl expeiriences of my peers and the instructor will be just as valuable as the set curriculum.
This sign supplements that theory well because to succeed in schooling, you must do all of those things in order to apply yourself the right way. This theory connects with PST numbers 1b, 2a, and 2b. These PSTs include are indicators for how the children are doing on their work inside of the classroom and making sure there is reinforcement within the classroom to help motivate the child. In all IEPs there need to be goals set of for the student to work towards, which will help them meet the standards of the general curriculum, and aid in them improving upon their disability and hopefully reaching independence eventually. UDL is supposed to help the IEP team put together goals for the student to meet, specifically goals that are related to problem areas of the student, and that give the student a chance to learn what they need just like other students. This section in the IEP is very important because it lists out specific goals with great detail that Stacy must work on, including how she is supposed to meet these goals, how she will be evaluated for the goals, and what exactly has to be done in order for her to have completed the goal. These goals will really benefit Stacy because she will improve in the areas these goals are focusing on, and she will be able to keep up with the general curriculum in her own way without falling behind or struggling because of her learning
According to Dewey (Aedo, 2002), the key idea is that interaction and continuity are two core characteristics of effective teaching and learning gained through experiences. The characteristic of interaction highlights the importance of the dialogue and communication underlying learning; the continuity characteristic emphasizes that the individual learner must be viewed as the key design element in the whole process.
