A magical love story
Once upon a time, as almost every good story starts, at the time when the Yellow Dwarf was born and the medieval times began, there was a charming house in the middle of a magical forest called Organdi. Which was part of the humble kingdom of Petrichor. People there, did not needed much and loved simplicity. Its citizens were mostly peasants, bakers, merchants and artists. The legend says that Petrichor was not always like it was then. Formerly, flowers used to give their beauty all over the village, abundance was real for everyone, and birds were able to sing an understandable song. But one day, things changed. She was an avid writer that painted with words what many weren’t able to do with images. Empty sheets were for her like a canvas waiting to be guided by her imagination. And Anton was a gardener that grew with detail and loveliness flowers of all kinds and colors; from daisies, birds of paradise, gladiolus, sunflowers, tulips, roses, carnations… and it goes on and on, their scent was soft and sweet with a little touch of vanilla. The wind ran with it a few miles away of the meadow.
It was a big blue skies morning, especially because it was the first day of the Golden Circus; a fair held every year after the first rain of May. People from all over the kingdom got together in the palace’s biggest saloon, the Golden one, to celebrate life and discover the grace there is in living it. Everything was beautiful. You could hear laughs and music, you could feel the enjoyment knocking at the door of your boredom and sameness. She went inside and tried to find someone to talk to. As I have told you before, everyone wanted to be there, now let me tell you, Anton was there too, waiting to be amazed but smelling something familiar. He started searching where that scent was coming from. And that’s when he saw her. María wearing her best smile and exchanging glances with him. He walked directly to her and with a sweet touch and great sense of humor, introduced himself. After flirting and laughing, he, finally, told her she had something that belonged to him. Nervously she tried to apologize. But, without letting her finish, he, also, said that maybe that wasn’t the only thing she had that belonged to him and she gave a hint of a smile. Then, he invited her to take a ride with him and let him try his best to give her a real and magical reason to smile. For a moment silence took over yet without thinking it twice, she said yes. So, each one of them took their horse and went directly in the direction the Yellow Dwarf was falling. Of course, it was fun… and of course they didn’t know, if that something magical they were after was just simply love.
