What is a hero? Is it a person that saves the world, like a leader, or a person who is caring and generous enough to help out with someone who needs help, like mowing a lawn for someone who is hurt or sick? The answer is a person who is loyal, inspiring, and fearless, for example, Mal from Return of the Isle of the Lost by Melissa De La Cruz. A hero is not a person who does evil or who stands by and watches. Again, it is someone who cares about the world and risks their life for the ones they love. What is a hero? When people think hero they think of capes, people with superpowers, crime stoppers. What is an actual hero and how do people define them. There are many examples of heros in books such as: Katniss Everdeen, Harry Potter, Bilbo Baggins, etc… Each of these characters stood up for their beliefs and faced many trials because of those beliefs.
What is a hero? The word hero can have many different meanings to it. A hero is someone who goes after their dreams and does not let anything stop them from conquering them. Being a hero has 3 different meanings to me; first, a hero could be someone who is willing to put themselves at risk to help others, someone who is willing to sacrifice anything to help others, and finally a hero could be someone who has changed or affected your life in any positive way. First, a hero to me is someone who is willing to put themselves at risk to help others. That could be a police officer, firefighter, or anyone.
It’s clear that a hero is someone who is courageous and compassionate in a time of need. But many people don’t know what it really means to be a hero. It doesn’t necessarily mean you can fly, or that you wear a cape. It’s your actions that represent your heroism within. And to be a hero is to act in any situation when needed.
Hero’s are great and powerful people. A Hero is someone who is willing to risk their life to help someone even though they don’t have to. Ponyboy is an example of a hero. Johnny is also a great example of a Hero. Bob though, is the complete opposite of a Hero.
A hero is anyone who makes the right decision to sacrifice for a person in need. For example, without heroes like firemen, wildfires and house fires would spread across the nation, costing lives and loss of worldly possessions. What is the definition of a hero to me? I believe that a hero is a person who helps others, motivates others, and contributes to the common good. Those qualities of a hero are the same qualities I found in my hero. My hero is Freddy Vargas who is also a freshman at CSUN.
