(första sidan) Who is Malala? Malala is a eighteen year old girl from Pakistan. She was born in Mingora, which is in Swat. She is famous for her activism for female rights for education in Swat. (andra sidan) In Swat there’s many Taliban everywhere and they don’t let girls go to the school. This is what Malala wanted to change. (tredje sidan ) In 2012 when Malala was at the bus on her way home from school a man in white clothes stepped on the bus and asked ”which one of you is Malala?” Nobody said anything but their eyes showed who Malala was. The gunman pointed his gun at Malala’s head and shot three times. The first bullet hit her in the head and one hit her neck. Luckily it didn’t kill her. She grew up in Mingora as I said with her parents, two younger brothers and two chickens that they had as pets. Some of them is the nobel prize, FN’s prize for human rights and the Sakharov prize for freedom of thought. She got the first prize in too thousand eleven and the most recent in too thousand fourteen. Why did I chose her? I chose Malala because I think she is a very strong person. She knew the dangers that followed her actions. She was only 11 years old and she still had enough determination to make a change. There were a few bumps in her road, like when many villagers told her mother the Taliban would kill her father if they found out what Malala was doing. But that didn’t stop her. Of course her family worried but they never stopped her from making a change for the better.

Malala demanded that girls have the right to education, not all people agreed with malala so she fought for the education of young women. While fighting for the rights of young women education like I said not all people agreed with malala sticking up for education for women, Malala was shot in the head by the Taliban gunman.

Malala Yousafzai is the youngest woman to ever receive the Nobel Peace Prize who is from Pakistan. She was shot and left for dead by the Taliban for standing up for women’s education at the age of 15 back in 2012. In Pakistan, women are not capable of going to school because the Taliban prohibits them from doing so. The Taliban is a terrorist group who took over Malala’s region when she was just 10 years old. Malala wrote I am Malala to introduce her life to the world and how women all around the world do not obtain basic human rights.
Malala comes from the patriarch country of Pakistan. In Pakistan women have no rights. Her country also mostly consists of Muslims. Growing up in Pakistan Malala’s country got invaded by the terrorist group known as the Taliban,who wanted strict Muslim laws enforced and wanted women to be isolated from things men can do including education. Being a girl Malala was at risk of losing her right to go to school because the Taliban would go to extreme forces to prohibit girls from going to school including bombing many schools.
When she did that caused her to get shot in the head by the Taliban because she didn't agree with their laws for women's rights and their education. After she was shot, she was flown away to the United Kingdom where she was able to survive the bullet. Malala is a peaceful girl as before and she like any other girls except she has won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2014 in the United Kingdom after her and family moved to escape the Taliban. While Malala is out there helping to save the world only making it better place for them, the Taliban are out there in the world to make it worse with their laws. She had international speeches and has won many prizes for human rights and equality (won the Nobel peace prize in 2014). The speech on education she had back in summer 2013 was for the UN General Assembly and it went viral. What she wanted to achieve is simply that she lays down the brutal facts and people of great power like the UN Assembly follows with resolutions and permanent changes. Her speech was interesting and very good build up by her use of the three theories of argumentation, which I will analyse throughout this essay.
