“I believe the gun has no power at all.” That was said by Malala Yousafzai, “the girl who stood up for education and was shot by the Taliban.” She is known worldwide as a women’s rights activist, Pakistani, and the youngest ever Nobel Peace Prize winner. Her childhood affected her accomplishments, of which there were many, which in turn affected the world.
Her father, who once led a school for girls and has shown bravery in supporting his daughters aspirations ; said she had long defeated Taliban threats. Malala refused to be silence and fought for her and others right to an education. Malala recognized she was not only Malala she was an outspoken speaker, writer, and activist, Malala the only one who had have the bravest heart to speak out to the Taliban. Malala had no fear but courage to speak out. In the novel I Am Malala it states “Help us appreciate the school days that are left to us,God,and give us the courage to fight even harder for more”(74).
She was injured by the Taliban and had to get treatment in a British hospital. She had international speeches and has won many prizes for human rights and equality (won the Nobel peace prize in 2014). The speech on education she had back in summer 2013 was for the UN General Assembly and it went viral. What she wanted to achieve is simply that she lays down the brutal facts and people of great power like the UN Assembly follows with resolutions and permanent changes. Her speech was interesting and very good build up by her use of the three theories of argumentation, which I will analyse throughout this essay.
Malala communicates ethos in this quote because she is giving herself credit for all the things she is doing and being the voice for many. And Malala believes that what she is saying is the truth and specifies that she doesn’t need a paper to stand up for what she believes in and no one can change her mind about what she is doing is right for the humankind of people. She also credits the younger girls and children who have an education and that she wouldn’t be standing up for what she believes in if it wasn’t for them. Malala also credits her father when she purifies that “Thank my father for not clipping my wings and letting me fly”(Yousafzai,2014). Malala thanks her father for letting her be herself and do what she believes in and letting her be an independent person who longs for the education she will continue to thank him for all that he has sacrificed for her throughout her life the father is on her side no matter what choices she decides.
She is known for human rights promotion, particularly the instruction of ladies and kids in her local Swat Valley in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northwest Pakistan, where the nearby Taliban had now and again restricted young ladies from going to class. One reason shows what a teen activist is, they have to overcome many challenges. One example is when a teenage girl named malala, you have probably heard of. She was standing for women's education and rights and the taliban targeted her. The challenge she had to overcome is the taliban shot her in the face at point blank. The bullet went through her head but not into her skull then it went into her shoulder.
I Am Malala Rhetorical Analysis The novel “I Am Malala“ by Malala Yousafzai is the story of how she grew up and what lead her to fight for education and end up having a near death experience when getting shot by the Taliban. Malala’s main goal is for every child to have an education. Moreover,she was able to show the audience why everyone deserves an education by using ethos to develop her credibility for the cause,repetition to emphasize the need for a change,and powerful diction to describe the lives of those deprived of an education,her religion, and the Taliban. Using these rhetorical devices she was able to show the audience that every child should get an education.
So Sofia tried to beat the bully without using violence or being mean back, she tried to use her mental and athletic ability to beat the bully. At the end of the story Amy is more true to herself whereas Sofia tries to beat the bully and stand up for who she is. In the stories “Fish Cheeks” and “Taco Head” both narrators learn similar lessons about being themselves. They should be proud of who they are because as Dr. Seuss says, “Why fit in when you were born to stand out?”

This quote was said by Malala Yousafzai, a 15 year old girl who was shot in the head by the Taliban due to her standing up for women’s education rights. Now, at the age of 18, Malala survived and she has come back even more brave and courageous. Hate crime is a serious issue and it continues to deepen the wounds in all types of people. We cannot stop hate crime because it is impossible to change the beliefs of other people all around the world at once.
On Tuesday, October 8th 2012 Malala Yousafzai was shot in the head for speaking out against the Taliban, and for education. “I Am Malala” is an Autobiography depicting the life of Malala Yousafzai, who lived in Pakistan when the Taliban came to power. When the Taliban made threats to the education of girls Malala spoke out. She grew in popularity and many people stood behind her in support of her cause.

Washington 's early education was first influenced by his mother, and Viola Ruffner, wife of the owner of the mines and the other women who made an impact to his struggles later in his life. He was blessed and surrounded with both good black and white women; most of the people that made him succeed were women. His mother was a supportive and positive woman, she bought him a spelling book and encouraged him to learn, Washington showed a positive interest in learning how to read by himself without a teacher. she wasn 't educated but was very ambitious for her children. She taught Washington a lot of morals as a child, she was so smart and creative that she made Washington a hat when he needed one to wear to school from different piece of cloth because she couldn 't afford to get him one.
Also did a malala fund to help girls go to school. Malala was a teen activist before that happened. When she was ten, she blogs about herself under taliban rules. This conclude that Malala is a brave, inspiring, and helpful teen
Malala addresses and acknowledges all the people who have helped her in the beginning of the speech. Giving help of her use of ethos in the speech. Malala creates an analogy using logos. Stating statistics of how many children across the world are not receiving the education needed. Going on, Malala speaks more on women’s education between society.
Malala Yousafzai’s book,“ I Am Malala,” has illustrated her struggle for educational equality around the world. She inspired millions of people and was able to become an international symbol of a peaceful protest. The rhetorical strategies used in Yousafzai’s book and speeches helped her developed a strong argument for girls educational rights and equality. Yousafzai conveys her message by writing what she wants to tell the public in her book. For example, the author stated,“ The Taliban want to turn the girls of Pakistan into identical, lifeless dolls”(Yousafzai, pg. 75).
