INTRODUCTION

Malaysian Airlines (MAS) was established in the year 1947 by Malaysian Airways. With the creation of Malaysia in the year 1963 the airline changed its name to Malaysian Airlines (MAS). Malaysian Airlines (MAS) is the government owned flag carrier airline of Malaysia. Flights are operated from KLIA and Kota Kinabalu. It’s also operates transatlantic and transpacific flight. In the year 1965 when Singapore separated with Malaysia, Malaysian Airlines became the national airline of in cooperation countries and it’s was changed its name to Malaysia Singapore Airline (MAS). Regardless of its success with quick growth and its new flight routes to some of the cities such as Perth and Rome, both countries determined to come apart Malaysia Singapore Airline into Malaysian Airline limited and also Singapore Airlines six years later. In the year 1972 it changed its name to Malaysian Airlines System (MAS) and it remain that way constantly given that. In February 2013, Malaysia Airline System (MAS) became one of the members of one world alliance and now it’s connected with 850 countries destination around the globe across the one world alliance network.
