Books are the stepping stones to human progress by Gorky. As we known, early books were inscribed by hand and lavishly decorated, but with the development of technology and human society, until approximately the 15th century, Johann Gutenberg invented metal movable type printing and Gutenberg ’s innovations spread quickly throughout Europe. The Gutenberg ’s invention cause people to read books conveniently today. As we known, when Malaysia became independent in 1957, everything needed to develop, including the book industry. As the same time, due to historical reasons, Malays, Chinese and Indians are the three major races in Malaysia. Because the nation has its own language, Malay, Chinese Tamil and English in Malaysia have varying degrees of development. It is because of Malay books, Chinese books, Tamil books and English books constitute the four most important parts of today’s Malaysian book industry. Until today, the book industry in Malaysia has developed better than the book industry at the time of independence. Since the independence of the Malaysian national economy and economy development is good, the government in the continuous development of economy and improve the living standards of the people, the government feels that in improving economic development and people’s living standards after every development is important to the people, the Malaysian began to focus on the improvement of national knowledge.
