In Malcolm's family of successful people, he is strictly told to follow life in a certain order. He must go to school, then college plus grad school and then he can settle down. Malcolm was to follow this order and not manipulate it in any way. In some instances in his life, he is told that he is very mature for his age due to the ways he's able to grasp reality a little bit better than most kids his age. This flaw that Malcolm has made him miss out on his childhood from how he was forced to grow up quickly. To make you understand why this flaw has made a big impact in his life we are going to go back to the beginning.
From a young age, Malcolm was competitive and athletic. He never turned down a game of soccer over playing with Hotwheels or action figures with his friends. One afternoon Malcolm's father came home from work and saying he found this cool sport around the corner called Tae kwon do. At first, Malcolm looked at his dad with some weird eyes like what is that ?. The following day his dad drove him over to Chung’s Tae-kwon do in Weston Florida. At first, he was shy and afraid of what he was getting himself into. But then the instructor Master Lim came over and introduced himself and walked Malcolm into the class.

Everyone knows Martin Luther King Jr. but not everyone knows Malcolm X. Malcolm got into the Civil Rights Movement when his father was killed by a white supremacist group called the Black Legion. Malcolm wanted to do something about it so he started public speaking at a place called the Nation of Islam. Malcolm X did plenty of things for African American human rights that people don’t know about. The points we are going to be focusing are on Malcolm’s youth, human right impact, and how he changed. First, let 's talk about how Malcolm’s father changed Malcolm along with his family.
Accourdingly, he had no reason to change his actions because there were no consequences for his misconduct. During a football game, a kid punched and disrespected Wes. Shortly after, the author describes “[Wes’s] knife in hand, hurrying to settle the score with the boy who had busted his lip” (34). Wes decided to defend his image and retaliate in a significant way. During all of this his mother was working, and she never found out about Wes’s encounter with the boy and cops until it was too late.
No matter how someone may be living their life there will always be obstacles to face. Everyday someone may face an obstacle they come across by and figuring out how to overcome something. Wheather it is a work related obstacle or a school obstacle there are many possibilites and opportunities to over come these series obstacles. Malcolm X wasn't an ordinary inmate in a prison. From being in a prison he was trying to become an educated man.
Through Wayne’s martial arts he is trying to prove that change is good, “Some people think that everything is rooted in the past. It is partially. But like evolution tells us if things don’t develop, change evolve adapt they die. My heart and spirit are with my grandfathers my feet are in the now,” (Taylor 243). Due to Malcolm X’s struggles in his early life, he dealt with an internal anger and resentment towards the white race, which lead to him rebelling and acting out. When Malcolm X was only 6 years old, criminals murdered his father and sparked an internal flame of hatred. His anger convinced him to commit various crimes such as stealing. This acted as a way to rebel against his family and the white community; he would not accept going unnoticed, nor would he accept others as they treated him as inferior.
