Malnutrition is a worldwide problem. People who are malnourished lack proper food, such as vitamins, proteins, minerals, oils and fibre needed for proper health and development. Undernutrition could be caused when a child lacks enough amount of right food in their body. Someone can be malnourished for a long time or short time, and the condition may be limited or severe. Children who are malnourished could likely to get sick or might even die. Stunting of a child is when the child's body prevents them from growing, or they cannot develop properly, and are not on the standard height. Stunting is usually caused from not the right amount of nutrition, and could be severe in certain areas. Wasting could be caused in a child when they lose a lot of nutrition such as vegetables and fruits etc, and they decrease most of their body weight. I think that the environment is linked to malnutrition in Zambia because the weather changes anytime, and some crops might die when the weather is not suitable for it and they wouldn't be able to feed their family. Young children who would be leaving in a farm would eat the food they grow on the farm, and they would eat three meals a day in the crop season, but sometimes some crops might rot or die and it would affect the whole families meals because the children won't be able to eat three servings of food a day, they would eat one or two meals a day on the bad days for the crops. The children that would eat twice a day would become malnourished and may become stunted or the child would start wasting. Many families around Zambia may not have the chance to eat vitamins and proteins because they might be experiencing drought around Zambia, they wouldn't be able to grow crops around the area and maybe can't afford to buy food in the markets, so the family might get
