According to Henry Fayol(1949), who is considered as the father of administrative management and also who came up with the 14 principles of management, “ To manage is to forecast, to plan, to organize, to command, to co-ordinate and to control”. To put it simply it is the act of getting things done along with the subordinates or co-workers in an organization. In other words it is a process of various functions like planning, organizing, leading and controlling the business operations in such way that will make attaining the goals set by the business firm a success. Management is an exceptionally well known term and has been used extensively for all types of activities and mainly for taking charge of different activities in any enterprise. All the employees in an enterprise perform various tasks in order to achieve the same goal. Management is a process of getting things done effectively and efficiently to achieve the common goal.
