In research development management control is productive and growing field, there is a lot of work in this field is suggested by Otley et al (1995) by following the lines of enquiry. There is different emerging themes on the management control such as: management control and new forms of organization, control practice and theory, decision making and performance management for strategic control, other emerging themes like risk and culture etc., control models for performance measurement and management. These are: change in hierarchal structure by controlled environment, it introduced the horizontal control in the organization, and most focus on business strategy rather than business planning, this include a balanced scorecard (BSC) by introducing the strategic information system, methodological researches on the control system, observe the complexity, risk and uncertainty on global level, difference and control among national and organizational cultures, economic sustainability of organization. The book “Forged by Fire” by Sharon M. Draper is a book with many themes and lessons we all can learn. One of the themes that this essay will talk about will be about loyalty. For one thing, loyalty is a strong feeling because it’s something that comes from inside of a person to have faith in someone. Also the fact that we’re all loyal to someone, someone who’s special in our lives and plays a major role in our lives that drags us to support them no matter what. In this book, Gerald gets abused by his drunk, ferocious father whom he absolutely abominates.
The straggles of the kids whose parents are not at home a whole lot are shown in the novel Williwaw. Which is written by Tom Bodett and published in 1999, is a story about two kids from Alaska, Ivan and September who are 12 and 13 years old, they got into the trouble because they did not follow their dads rules. The main theme “challenges of life” can clearly be seen within the novel Williwaw. For Ivan and September challenges of taking care for themselves means staying at home alone for several weeks because their father is not home and their mother died a few years ago. That means that they have to look after themselves and stay out of the troubles and the most important follow their dads rules.
Reader Response for Ysrael and Fiesta 1980 Ysrael is a tragic story of a boy who has to wear a mask because when he was a baby, his face got eaten by a pig, but survived. Ysrael is described as a monster, and the kids in the village seems to make fun of him because they are disgusted by his disfigured face. Ysrael is lonely kid as no one wants to be friends with him. The other characters are Yunior, and Rafa ; they are brothers that live in the Dominican Republic with their uncle and aunt.
Themes are promoted in books, movies and plays to present strong ideas to the audience. In the novel Blueback, a narrative written by Tim Winton published in the year of 1997, themes are advertised repeatedly in every scene, conversation and the main character’s inner thoughts. Themes such as belonging, which helps the readers understand the meanings of particular things to particular characters and other characters themselves, family and friendship, which urge and encourage the audience to build stronger and committed relationships with their family and friends. Red Kayak is a truly heartbreaking story that will grab your attention through every event in the novel. It is a story about a boy named Brady who has to deal with a little boy’s death named Ben DiAngelo who died in a kayaking accident. Realistic fiction is a genre that refers to stories that might really happen in real life. The elements of realistic fiction are credible events, authentic characters, real settings, true-to-life themes, and believable dialogue. Red Kayak is an example of realistic fiction because of its credible events, authentic characters, and believable dialogue.
In the book Black Like Me, the three main themes that John Howard Griffin stress are identity, race, and white supremacy. The story begins with a naïve Griffin deciding to pose as a black man in the Deep South to study the living conditions, civil rights, and overall life of black people in the late 1950s. He does this as a black man instead of a white one to get the truth out of black people and not the censored version they usually give and to witness it firsthand. Griffin originally underestimates the oppression of black people, but he will soon find out the harsh realities of black racism and inequality.

“The Veldt” is a unique and universal short story by Ray Bradbury. This story’s universal theme is family because there are many family conflicts in the story. “The Veldt” is unique because of the way technology is portrayed and how much power that technology has over the family. The poems “Tableau” by Countee Cullen and “Now and Then America” by Pat Mora display a common theme of following one’s own unique path. A person should not allow society and its standards to influence one’s individual beliefs. Figurative language, diction, and the poem’s structure are used to to demonstrate the theme of following one’s unique path. The poem “Tableau” uses figurative language through the use of simile “Now and Then America” uses figurative language through the form of personification. In “Tableau”, Cullen writes “That lightning brilliant as a sword/ Should blaze through the path of thunder” (819, 11-12).
Theme for “Lusus Naturae” Rejection can make one feel alone, helpless, and out of place, and it’s a feeling that can make someone feel like they are no good, or that they aren’t worthy of a good life. All throughout the story, we are given examples of how the young girl is shamed and rejected. She was never accepted for who she was and this made her do things, sometimes extreme to help out her family. She knew she would never fit in, and her actions proved just that.
Throughout short fiction, Charlotte Gilman is most famously noted for her ability to create strong gothic themes in her writing. This is especially true in her 1890s story “The Yellow Wallpaper.” Overall, an important theme in Charlotte Gilman short story “The Yellow Wallpaper” is that when combined, isolation and oppression often lead to negative consequences such as insanity and mental instability. Gilman achieves this through her thorough use of symbolism and settings that helps to highlight and establish the overall theme.
