Stress: How To Manage Stress?

“The word stress is derived from the Latin word “stringere” which means to draw tight” (Cox, 1978). In phycology, stress is a feeling of strain and pressure. Stress may be beneficial or harmful. Small amounts of stress may be desired and beneficial. It helps improve athletic performance also plays factor in motivation, adaptation and reaction to the environment, however excessive amount of stress, may lead to many problems in the body that could be harmful. .”I believe stress is a factor in any bad health.” (Christopher Shays, 1985). Avoiding the bad health, it is important for us to manage the stress. Managing stress is consist of two phase, identify the causes of stress and overcome the problem. However, before identify the causes stress of we need to know the symptoms of stress. Once you know what's bothering you, develop a plan to address it. This could mean setting more reasonable expectations for yourself and others or ask for help with household responsibilities, work assignments or other tasks.
