"Danforth. What is it, child? (But Abigail, pointing with fear, is now raising up her frightened eyes, her awed face, toward the ceiling—the girls are doing the same—and now Hathorne, Hale, Putnam, Cheever, Herrick, and Danforth do the same.) What’s there? (He lowers his eyes from the ceiling, and now he is frightened; there is real tension in his voice.)
He took her home because he was worried about her and she was shaking. Later on after Finn and Hayley had started dating she asked him to help her pick up her dad. Andy had made a scene at the bar and was too drunk to find where he had parked the car. Finn took her without saying much after their phone call.
The Book Thief will give you a new view on world war 2 and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to read a challenging book. As mentioned before it all started with Liesel Meminger(was 14), her mother, and the corpse of her brother. This day would give Liesel nightmares for years, every night. Liesel's brother died of some form of disease. Her brother was berried on the way to Munich, there she stole her first book from a grave digger(Liesel didn't know how to read due to her families poorness).
The action of her spitting out Phil’s candy is symbolic of her final rejection of Phil. This shows she had enough of his mistreatment of herself and other people that she cannot stand the person he’s turning to. The chapter emphasizes the reversal of their personalities when he has spent the entire play not speaking to her and she’s usually the person who plays the narrative. At this point, Leah creates a watershed in her action helps intensify the tension of the plot, also accentuates her determinant of leaving Phil and the gang. Dennis Kelly uses pathetic fallacy in the setting of Leah’s monologue to describe how open she is as a person.
So, they went to Dally and they got some money or food, a gun, and a jacket for Ponyboy. They went to Dally because they knew if they wanted to get out of town and away from prying cops, they knew Dally would be the person to make it happen. While they were in the church Dally had sent them to a week prior, Jonny fell asleep with a cigarette still lit without Jonny realizing it. Later that day, Dally showed up and took them to lunch for some real food.
But when the sun does come out for those mere two hours, they play and forget about Margot. But after the sun disappears, they remember, and guilt and shame overcome them. Bradbury leaves us with a cliffhanger, but we can infer that the kids apologize to her. Maybe some kids believed her, but did not want to admit it. But we are sure, that Margot will never be teased for this reason, as she was right all along.
He wanted to strive for other things, not letting him learn did not let him down. A quality is determination and ambition mostly, it helps go for the things wanted and to not give up. Determination will not let people give up and keep trying until they get the thing
With her saying “Patrick, How are you doing?” (Mary 3) right as soon as she walked in from the store, even though she knows he is on the ground dead. If she was really upset, then in the first place she would have told someone. Instead she was scared and tried acting like she wasn’t a coward.

Mrs. Luella Bates Washington Jones was a large woman. She was walking home one night and a boy tried to take her purse. The boy’s name was Roger. He was the boy that tried to steal the lady’s purse. The woman fought back for her purse.
One can also predict Sammy is a possessive person by his word choice of “his girls.” By Sammy defending the girls he was wishing that they would admire what he has done and that he would get some reward out of it. By Sammy saying, “of course” it shows that he believes he is a person with constant bad luck. The mood from the beginning of the story to the end has also changed. The beginning seemed more of a up beat mood to it as he described the half naked girls that walked into his work place and how cute he thought one of the girls were.
Donna had texted Shanay and her friend to come home. When they got some Donna had asked where they were. She stalled at first because Tyrone was supposed to come to her house and return the bracelet that she had dropped. Finally she told Donna that she had to go finish homework and she went outside to her porch to wait for Tyrone.
In picture 10 the girls give off an irritated tone. I think this because they are staring each other dead in the eyes like they want to kill each other. They also have a mean look on their faces. Everyone is staring at them like they did something wrong or said something bad, They also have a shocked face on them. They don’t have smiles on their faces so they must not be happy with each other, and it was the time that white people and black people didn’t like each other so it fits into the time period that they were in within the
In the story Rodger tried to take Ms. Jones purse. He didn’t get away though the purse was too heavy so he feel. Ms. Jones grabbed him and dragged him all the way to her house.
