Maria Trabocchi Makes a Name in DC with Fiola Mare
A Washington, DC eatery is giving gastronomes new talking points. Fiona Mare, on 3050 K St NW Ste 101 is not your usual restaurant, thanks to its culinary delights paired with DC hospitality and the powerful culinary couple behind it. According to the restaurant website, Fiolamareddc.com, the restaurant brings the Italian and the Mediterranean seaside dining experience of elegant simplicity without sacrificing flavor, color and texture. The Georgetown based restaurant is run by restaurateur Maria Trabocchi, her husband Mr. Fabio Trabocchi, who serves as the master chef together with a full management team.
In spite of their humble immigrant backgrounds, the couple shares a deep rooted belief in hard work and traditional upright upbringing, a recipe that has helped them succeed in the highly competitive US market. According to an excerpt about the restaurant published on the Washington Post, the couple first set eyes on each other at the now defunct Milanese restaurant, Bice in 1994. Maria, the daughter of a Spanish diplomat was working for a young chef from Italy and barely spoke any English. The couple married in 2000, a few years before establishing Fiola on the same spot where Bice stood.

On 12/3, APS SW Jamie Gaines spoke with Rosa Naremore about the possibility of Ms. Mullins receiving home dialysis. According to Ms. Naremore, Ms. Mullins would not have the mental capacity of what needed to be done with home dialysis. Worker explained to Ms. Naremore that Ms. Mullins had recently moved into Eagle Rest and the owner could help Ms. Mullins with the process. Ms. Naremore stated the person willing at assist would be required to attend training at Princeton from 8-12 for a month. In the training, she would learn all the requirements.

Today I interviewed my Tia Maria, she is my mothers aunt who is 89 years old. Maria lives in old San Juan Puerto Rico with her daughter Suky. She has lived on the island all of her life. I had the privilege to interview her and learn some great facts about her life and listen to a couple of great stories about her good old days on the shorelines of Puerto Rico. I was pretty impressed on how they lived and how much they depended on the land for substance and gain.

She has been playing since kindergarten, and played rec for nine years. Now, Saulino is on the Cleveland High School Junior Varsity team. A three months pregnant teenager was declared dead after her mysterious collapse at her home in Honduras. Her family members called a priest believing she was possessed by an evil spirit when they saw the teenager fell unconscious and foaming at her mouth. Relatives of Neysi Perez, 16, said that the teenager woke up in the night to use the toilet when they saw her passed out after hearing a gunfire outside. They recall that the priest who came tried to exorcise Perez but became unresponsive. They rushed the teenager to the nearest hospital but was pronounced dead by the doctors three hours later.

Minerva was against the government, hence the reason Trujillo committed all of those crimes, and lead many political movements against the government.

In this essay, the story of Maria La Loca that Mama tells the girls specifically related, to Laura, Cofer’s aunt. Laura is getting married at the young age of seventeen and to prevent men from ruining her life, Mama tells how Maria La Loca "is as old as her mother already." The women that is participating in the storytelling were Cofer' grandmother who is refer to as Mama, her mother,and her aunts.
