Revenge is the action of inflicting harm on someone for an injury or wrong suffered at their hands. People have been debating whether or not revenge is ethical. In the short story Marigolds by Eugenia W. Collier, the theme of revenge is portrayed as dishonorable, however, in the poem A Poison Tree by William Blake, the author depicts revenge as satisfying.
