With that being said, honesty remains integral in the family. Even if there were short-term advantages to lying, the consequences were dire in the end. Every relationship must be built upon trust and understanding, which can be only achieved through the truth. In addition, married couples must be committed as well to not only maintain their relationship but remain close and truthful with one another. Spouses cannot simply abandon and separate themselves for the rest of the family or else their relationship as a married couple will be compromised.

The parents, George and Lydia, are to blame for their own deaths because they gave their kids everything they wanted. In the story “The Veldt” by Ray Bradbury, the parents bought a SMART house that has a nursery with virtual reality. The kids had grown really close to the technology in the house and spent a lot of time in the nursery going anywhere they could imagine. The parents started to become worried about what their children were thinking about when they went to visit the nursery. Early in the story, we see the kids getting everything they want beginning to develop when the parents walked to the nursery to see if there was something wrong with it.

Basically my entire family felt the same as I did which made me feel a lot better. Once we finally arrived and unpacked all of our things I had to do what I had been fearing the most about moving, going to a new school. On my first day I was so nervous I really didn't even want to go, but I eventually worked up the courage to go along with my sister who was also really nervous. When I walked into my first class I was stared at by everyone and just tried to find my seat without tripping on something and embarrassing myself. After I sat down the teacher introduced me to the class and everyone in the room said hi to me which made me feel a little less nervous.
