There are many theories as to how Marilyn Monroe left this world. Some say it was suicide/drug overdose, others say it was an accidental death. But one of the theories most spoken about is that she was murdered. Marilyn had an affair with the 35th president, John F. Kennedy. It is believed that when this was happening, she talked a lot about the white house and what went on inside, so people associated with Kennedy wether it be inside or outside of the white house killed her because she knew too much. So I am going to talk about this conspiracy and the information on it. Marilyn Monroe was a model, singer, and actress who was a major icon in the 1950-60's, and even to this day. She had hoped to become the first lady and replace Jackie as his wife (Jackie). Her friend, Jeanne Carmen explained that Marilyn was set on the idea that JFK would leave his wife for her, but she also mentioned that these ideas might have been brought on because of her emotional problems and her alcohol and drug intake (Jackie). Peter Lawford mentioned later on that when Marilyn had made the phone call to Jackie, she had this idea that JFK would leave his entire family for her, as well (Jackie). Furious rumors of the affair began to circulate throughout the press. In her friends' words, they said that Marilyn felt as if her and Kennedy were drifting away and she felt it was her fault (Jackie). At this point, John was scared that he would be caught up in a scandal if he continued his relationship with Marilyn (Kennedy). In the summer of 1962, Marilyn was considered a security risk and was told to end all contact with both of the Kennedy brothers, and she was heartbroken
Ever since the murder of Mary Phagan, which occurred on April 26, 1913, there has been a lot of discussions of who may have called the sweet, little Mary Phagan. Could have it been the black man, Jim Conley, or was it the white, Jewish man, Leo Frank? Did the killer get away with murder, or was justice served through the act of lynching? During this time, no one could have convinced another person that Jim Conley indeed killed Mary Phagan, but that Leo Frank was the definite killer in the eyes of the people. The point that everyone can agree upon is that the murder of Mary Phagan could never be forgotten.
Mary Surratt was innocent when it comes down to the president Abraham Lincoln’s death and did not deserve to be put to death. The officers that put Mary to death, did not have evidence to support the fact that she was involved in Lincoln’s murder. Booth recruited Mary Surratt into the conspiracy of the kidnapping of Abraham Lincoln. This means that Mary Surratt was aware of the kidnapping of Abraham Lincoln but she did not know about the assassination.
Many of the ideas and research found in Arthur Miller's article "Why I Wrote the Crucible" can be found inside of his 1952 play regarding the Salem Witch Trials: "The Crucible". In preparation for writing the play, Miller researched the witch trials of 1692, and even took some of his own experiences, regarding the "Communist Witch Hunt of the 1950s, into consideration. Various depictions of Miller's opinions and investigations are displayed throughout 'The Crucible". First of all, Miller, in his article, states "by 1950, when I began to think of writing about the hunt for Reds in America, I was motivated in some great part by the paralysis that had set in among many liberals, who, despite the discomfort with the inquisitors' violations of

Maybe some people saw him as being just another straggly hippie, but many people viewed him as an adored legend that made a positive impact on society. John was born on October 9, 1940 during World War II in the town of Liverpool, England. At the time of his birth, England was under heavy attack.

She walked past the sign that said “UNAUTHORIZED PERSONNEL KEEP OUT,” absentmindedly not thinking about the true consequences of her actions. The last quote is when she was talking to Barton about the protocol with more intel. “There isn't enough fuel for me to stay; when I hid on this ship I got into something I didn't know about and now I have to pay for it.” Once Marilyn learned that it was either her life or 7 others she decided to sacrifice her life. She became more accepting of the consequence and even said her good-bys.
In All the Pretty Horses by Cormac McCarthy, the main protagonist, John Grady Cole, exiles himself to Mexico when his known and beloved way of life is threatened. This experience to him was both alienating and enriching. He gets to where he is going only to have everything he has worked for taken from his hands. He is left alone and sad, but full of new insights about the world around him. John’s relationship with and the death of Jimmy Blevins, his love for Alejandra and her abandoning him, and his lost position at the hacienda ranch are three main events that leave John alienated, but enriched with worldly ideas and understandings he would take to the grave.

Marilyn Monroe uses her disguise for privacy and to avoid any undesirable attention. However, the two girl-poets use the same type of disguise to avoid showing their true lesbian feelings for one another in a society that is unable to except it. Anne Sullivan and Odysseus’s journey stages were very similar. For example, they both experienced a call to start their journey, their struggles in their road of trials, and after they both luckily found their crisis salvation which lead them both transformed into new people. These examples are just a few of the many ways Odysseus and Anne Sullivan relate in their life events. Anne Sullivan and Odysseus both found their call and were unaware of what was going to happen during the time they were there. “Perkins director Michael Anagnos wrote to Sullivan about a job opportunity as governess for a deaf-mute, and blind young woman named Helen Keller”(Sisson).

Mad About the Boy. You paddle across the yellow sand with your brother-in-law, Jack, who is carrying a huge banana-coloured parasol over you to keep the bright sun from your black-haired head. Your twin sister, Jean, walks a few metres away carrying her own parasol, lifting the hem of her lemon-coloured dress in case the incoming tide should dampen it. Your dress is the same colour and style as hers. Your mother always dressed you the same when you were young girls, and now that you are young women, you still dress in similar colours and styles, even without your mother’s insistence or advice.
