A narrative knot is a filmmaker’s way of tying together music and plotlines. Narrative knots follow patterns throughout the entire cinematic world. One of Mark Slobin’s examples of a narrative knot is the practice of couples listening to classical music in a concert hall. During the concert the relationship usually transforms.
