The process of segment begins with market analysis as well as research analysis, this helps identify key segments, but this is just the start because in order to be efficient and successful applying a segmentation plan includes bring into line the organization to deliver appropriately for each segment and there are real business issues to be considered. Segmentation research is crucial for our group project because we will use it to better understand the customers and market of the company we are currently working with so that we can help the organization to improve its services to better meet market needs. Group members are more likely to generate good and problem-solving ideas effectively when they feel that they are not judged when sharing their opinions. The facilitator or the group leader should encourage members to share their views and ideas when it comes to brainstorming. The group leader should be a devil’s advocate, meaning he/she should not side with or against any ideas brought to the group by the members. The brainstorming stage of a project is very important because members are more likely to worker harder when they feel implicated and involved in the project. And lastly, have a specific purpose of brainstorming. With a specific question in mind or the problem to explore, the brainstorming is process becomes a lot easier. As a group, we need to develop a project scope. Project scope is the part of project planning that involves determining and documenting a list of specific project goals, deliverables, tasks, costs and deadlines. With that scope we are able to have a clear vision of what our mission is and how we are planning to achieve that
