Our company decides to export textile which is Batik to Italy. What is Batik? Batik is an art medium and methodology for creating design especially on cloth. How to create batik’s pattern? We need to apply wax to portions of the material, dyeing it, and then get rid of the wax. This can be done to make vibrant colors and incredible design. Batik is an ancient art that has been handed down for thousands of years and the word Batik itself coming from the Javanese tik and means to dot. It is said to be wide spread as the Middle East, Africa, Indonesia, Malaysia, China, Thailand, Philippines, India and more.

There are several etiquette that Italian people really takes serious. Firstly is sense of humour. There generally not easily offended and can criticize and then joke with them. They also polite to sit close to people and interacting by lightly touching people on the arms. Italian gazes are intense. It is felt that someone who cannot look you in the eyes is trying to hide something. Elders expect and get respect. In relationship and communication, they prefer to face to face contact, so it is important to spend time in Italy developing relationship. The networking can be an most full time occupation in Italy because personal contacts allow people to get ahead. Italians are extremely expressive communicators. They tend to be wordy, emotional and demonstrative often using facial and hand gestures to prove their point.
