Abstract: Adidas Group is the global leader in the sporting goods industry. Adidas products are almost available in all over the world. Adidas brands built on a passion for sports and sporting lifestyle. Adidas focus on consumer satisfaction and therefore they improve quality, feel, look, image of products and organisational structures to match and exceed consumer’s expectation and to provide them with the highest value. The main objective of this study is to analyze the importance of marketing strategies and also analyzing the importance of branding which helps us to find out about Adidas brand’s strengths, weakness, opportunities and threats, using STP process, segmentation of market, target the customers and position the product/services. This analysis helps to compare Adidas footwear with other Indian footwear industries and, the advantages and drawbacks of Indian footwear industries. This also involves some of the strategies to improve Indian footwear brands. Introduction: Adidas is a German multinational corporation that designs and manufactures sports shoes, clothing and accessories. Adidas is the largest sportswear manufacturer in Europe and the second biggest in the world, after Nike. It is the holding company for the Adidas Group, which consists of the Reebok sportswear company.
