“Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that. Martin Luther King was an African American civil rights leader. He fought for the rights of segregated america. Doing this allowed African Americans to receive better treatment within the communities. Martin Luther King is a revolutionary figure because he fought for equality to ensure the betterment of America.
