Martin Luther King Jr.: Inspired To Make Change

Martin Luther King Jr. was an important figure in history who developed and used his leadership for something positive. He had leadership, or the skill to encourage people to work together, which he used to lead a civil rights movement. His admirable quality led to many successes. In addition to his leadership, he is also a team player. Not only did he lead a nonviolent protest, but he used the assistance of others. For this reason, he could not accomplish what he did without the help of his supporters and his ability to be a leader.

To change the world, one must use their words to give the sense that the change is for the better. Speeches by the leaders that influence today’s society and those who came before have been able to cause emotions in the people who listen or read them. To be able to make people feel things with your words is a skill necessary for those who want to change the world. Martin Luther King Jr. is a great example of someone who used their words and ability to make people feel to make a change that impacted the whole world. Words are a very powerful weapon that can be used to provoke, calm, and inspire change.

Cool Hand Luke showed many rebellious attitudes throughout his incarceration on the chain gang. This rebellious attitude could be an insight to the human spirit as it calls out to never give up and to be persistent in what one believes. The idea of bucking the system should be handled with intelligence and great care as it is always dangerous going against the masses.

A momentous day in history is exalted by the enthralling speech and resonating imagery of a man whom wanted to make a difference. Just over 100 years after the Emancipation Proclamation was implemented, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. delivered a very riveting speech to over 250,000 Americans during the March on Washington, the nation’s largest demonstration of peaceful protest. With peace typically comes logic of which King very much emanated from his speech. With powerful rhetoric, King captivated an entire crowd and subsequently the entire nation with emphasizing while being freed from the travesty that was slavery people of color are still placed in chains by society’s gruesome yet commonplace demarcations. Deluged with remarkable linguistics, King’s rhetoric wholly epiphanized and unified a country that had been stricken with unrest by war and hate and thus became the epitome of the March on Washington and the summation of the Civil Rights Movement

“And if America is to be a great nation, this must become true.” (MLK, 264).  Martin Luther King Jr. was a recognized activist in terms of supporting complete freedom for African Americans.  He was a well known author and public speaker who served as a shred of hope for many during the dark times in which racial prejudice was exercised.  King expresses his thoughts using logical appeal (logos), as well as emotional appeal (pathos) to support his case and persuade others to support it as well.  King’s usage of logos and pathos assisted him greatly in speeches and letters, the effect being the nation we know today.

Martin Luther King Jr. was a very influential person. He made a change in history that impacts the world today between different races. He is very important on the way how society acts now. King was born on January 15th, 1929, in Atlanta Georgia. He started out as a minister, but is known for being a civil rights activist. He is known for ending the segregation of African-American citizens in racial areas.

There are many individuals who have shaped and impacted the history of America. Many decades of hardships have been endured to make America the way it is today. An individual who is recognized and still remembered today for helping shape America into a more honorable country is Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. He was raised in Georgia in a pastor’s home with his father and his grandfather both being pastors. Being a pastor has always been a part of Dr. Martin Luther King’s life and he later became a pastor himself. Today, Martin Luther King Jr. is still known for his brave and powerful leadership to end the unequal rights of African Americans in the mid 1900’s. He organized sit-ins, protests, and marches to

The world saw him as a treat, marching protest leader, an activist, representative, and a civil rights leader. With a different insight of how the social structure and equality should be brought to justice for all. However, some of his greatest messages, achievements, and heroic stands were not preached from the mountaintop before millions in Washington, D.C. Instead days before I walked into his church looking for the civil rights leader, but I got a preacher. A preacher who just been assassinated in 1968, he had a sermon that reminded people that color should not be a factor in human life.

I've always admired Martin Luther King Jr. Early in life, I learned that he fought for the rights of, not only me but, my friends and family. Life in the America wasn't always like it is now. At a young age I understood how he transformed the landscape of America and gave more meaning to the term “equality”. He benefited society in unimaginable ways. It's difficult to imagine because we live in the society he dreamed of. He is my hero. More recently, though, I've had time to consider how and what people have changed to improve me and society.

Martin Luther King, Jr. is perhaps the most visible spokesperson and leader in the civil rights movement. He is famous for writing his “I Have A Dream” speech and his “Letter From Birmingham Jail.” Dr. King is known as a very high-minded speaker who avoids violence when making his argument. His work can be defined as a nonviolent protest. His “I Have A Dream” speech and “Letter From Birmingham Jail” are loaded with language that does not have a negative, violent-sounding undertone, but rather a passionate one. Both of these arguments by King use two main types of persuasive appeal, logical and emotional appeal. Logical appeal, or logos, uses a clear line of reasoning supported by evidence, such as data, expert testimony, and facts. Emotional appeal, or pathos, uses charged or loaded language and other devices to stir emotions. “I Have A Dream” and “Letter From Birmingham Jail” are brimming with logos and pathos.

Martin Luther King went through a great amount of hardships during the Civil Rights movement.Martin had a great amount of hate received to him all over the country.that just changed him to work harder to convince hateful people that blacks and whites could be together.Martin was sadly assassinated,but his image changed the world greatly.

Martin Luther King Jr. changed African American history forever. He was a non violent protester and he got us the right to vote. He also got us even pain jobs. As stated in "Encounter with Martin Luther King Jr." Dr. King said "Disappointment drives our young men to some desperate lengths, That is why we must fight an win." He stopped segregation, and even though he did that, people are still racist and rude based on color.

The inspiration of being the final caregiver to my aged mother in law, provided me with the first-hand experience of the treatment of the aged in our society, the good, bad and the ugly. I found my voice in trying to be her advocate, at first it was met with

“ I have a dream”. This is one of his most well known speeches. He was the one led the march on Washington, he used nonviolent ways to help everyone have equal civil rights. This man was born on January 15, 1929 in Atlanta, Georgia and died on April 4, 1968 in Memphis, TN. He was in charge of the African-American Civil Rights Movement. Martin Luther King Jr was a very good man he helped people get equal civil rights, he led the march on Washington, and he nonviolently helped get people civil rights.
