Martin Luther King Jr. Martin King Luther Jr changed the way society thought and he is still a role model for many people in the society. He fought for equality for all the people regardless to their race. Martin King Luther Jr also fought for Civil Rights and Voting Rights for those who did not have the right. King was born on 15th January 1929. He attended segregated public schools and graduated at the age of fifteen from high school in Georgia. He received the B.A degree in 1948 from Morehouse College and studied theological for three at Crozer Theological Seminary.
