What makes a great leader? A leader is someone who has determination, responsibility, and courage. Martin Luther King Jr. is someone who shows great leadership as he was determined and had lots of courage. A leader is someone who fights for what is right even when everyone else thinks it is wrong.
To begin with determination makes a great leader, Mr. King took great stands to make the world a better place while the rest of the world was against him, that is what a great leader is to me, someone who can fight for what is right while the rest of the world may be against you. Martin Luther King Jr had courage to take a stand in front of all those people while making others see what he was fighting for, and also letting others know what he was fighter for was right. Courage is something everyone has even though most people have to dig deep to find it in their selves. Mr. King shows the most courage when he first starts having ideas about his speech, unlike any other man at that time no one would stand up for what was right and what was wrong. Mr. King knew that what he had to say would not have everyone jumping for joy at the idea but he knew he had to have courage to let other know what was right. Martin Luther King Jr. is a man of courage and is a man that is a great leader of courage.
A great leader is made of possessing determination, responsibility, and courage all in a one person.
