“There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve: the fear of failure,” cautions Paulo Coelho in The Alchemist. Everyone has dreams but not everyone dares to make them come true. One of my dreams is I want to study abroad and experience other cultures. Applying KGSP scholarship is my first step to achieve my dream. In my quest for a suitable graduate program, I was thrilled to learn that Food and Nutrition Department at Yonsei University offers a graduate curriculum that match my need.

Having done my undergraduate studies at undoubtedly one of the best undergraduate institutions in Indonesia, I would consider it my privilege to be able to pursue my master studies at Yonsei University and avail of the excellent infrastructural facilities and research opportunities it has to offer. I am sure that the stimulating academic environment and interaction with the distinguished faculty at Yonsei will prove immensely fruitful and facilitate my development as an individual researcher in my field. I feel that Yonsei has much to offer me, and at the same time, I am confident that I would be able to make a positive contribution to Yonsei University. Equipped with knowledge I gained through my academic years and experiences gained through my professional career, I wish that I can produce published papers during my study in Yonsei University. …show more content…

If I have the chance to be KGSP awardee, I would like to establish a foundation with some Indonesian people who also granted the scholarship from Korean Government. The objectives of this foundation are to guide and give free consultation service to future Indonesian generation who wish to study in South Korea. Moreover, I hope that in the future, this foundation can also provide scholarships for Indonesian people to study in Korea as what KGSP will provide to me if I obtain the acceptance from this scholarship
