I, too, was a selfish and spoiled person until an eye opening experience happened to me. It was the Wednesday during spring break, and school was out. My family and I decided to take a trip to Lafayette to visit my cousin and the new apartment she was renting. It was the perfect day for all of us. My aunt who has MS got to see her daughter which does
Miss Brill gets great enjoyment from her weekly visit to the park and she receives satisfaction from observing others and their interactions and by eavesdropping on their conversations which is evident when Mansfield writes “Oh how fascinating it was! How she enjoyed it! How she loved sitting here, watching it all!” (9). Without interacting with her fellow park goers Miss Brill still feels included in their lives, and she is disappointed when the man and the women who share her “special seat” are not engaging in conversation with one another, as it leaves her without a conversation to listen to (3). She envisions the goings on at the park as a play and that all the park goers play a part in the performance, so much so that she makes sure that she arrives at the same time each week “so as not to be late for the performance” (9).
In April of 2010, my dad, mom, and I traveled to Orlando, Florida. We stayed there for about a little over a week and it was so much fun. On one of the Wednesdays we were there we started off the day by going to Walt Disney World. We began by going through security which nobody likes because it takes a little time out of your day, but it keeps everyone safe so it is an appreciable thing. While we were going through security we saw lots of moms and dads being annoyed by their screaming children.

GILBERT ‘S GRANDPARENTS FARM Finally after some hours and pass several Germans checkpoints, we arrived at the farm of Gilbert grandparents, which was near Orleans There we get out of the hiding place in the back of the truck and Gilbert and his grandparents received us as the cousins who came from Paris to spend the summer vacation with them. Gilbert grandmother Gave us to eat and she prepared a room for the three of us, because Leah did not want to be separated from me and from her doll Tete she was tired and asked several times about mom and grandpa, finally she fell asleep. And I also did. The farm had a huge hen-house. Also they were geese and a place with several closures for the rabbits, also were the sheep and their calves, several cows which were milked every morning to have fresh milk, two draft (PLOW) horses, three dogs, several large cats and very big pigs with 12 newborns piglets .
We could either hang out in our family homes or hang out with our friends from Israel but it was open to us to do what we wanted. I chose to spend half the day with my kids and half the day with you with my friends. I was shown modeling and asked questions about my political stances with the kids and with my friends all we did for the entire afternoon was play codenames. Even though there wasn’t anything crazy or special that happened that day I still felt like it was the best day I could’ve had. One of my favorite days outside the village was when we went to the Safari being with wild animals and nature is an amazing experience.
To get away for the weekend and have a good time and relax. She said, “Would you like to go with us to Carowinds Barbaree?” I said yes of course! “Make sure you take off from work.” She told me to start saving my money and we will go two weekends from now. We went June 22nd on a hot Saturday morning, around 10:00. My boyfriend Shawn came and got me from my house so we could all ride together.
In Minnesota there’s lot to do, lots to see and lots to eat. We however were staying not for long, we boarded a plane and made our way to Italy. After 15 or so unbearable hours of flight, a broken plane, a delayed flight, and a missed plane, we were welcomed to Italy with beautiful scenery, artwork and more. “Off with the trip” said my aunt Julie, standing alongside her boyfriend. Not only were we staying in the amazing Italy, we were getting ready to spend our time in Italy on a luxurious cruise.

I slept with my family, and everyone else was a little scattered around the house, except my Aunt’s family got the master’s bedroom to themselves. The next few days were extremely fun. I got to experience many exciting parts of Florida, such as the heat, which compared to Michigan is extremely hot, turtles and sparklers, campfires, Ice Cream, and more! Mostly, the trip consisted of card games, swimming, and good food, but many other small events, such as seeing a giant turtle, happened that made the trip one of the funnest trips I’ve ever had. One day, I wish I could go there again with all my family from my dad’s
