Likewise, many people admired Reuven for his intelligence. He worked hard by reading to acquire knowledge. Equally, Reuven’s determination drove him to success.
Everyone wanted to meet Mr. Brown, who seemed extremely overjoyed with the actions of everyone towards him. Things of this nature show that Mr. Brown is a reasonably pleasant man who does not carry too much displeasure in his charisma. After a number of occasions, what I was able to read I found Mr. Brown to a likeable man. His demeanor was hard to recognize at first, but showed later on in the chapters. I was able to identify the type of person he was through several interactions presented in the book.
George didn't let age stop him from learning. He acted as a motivator to his children. He treated everyone fairly when they cheated him. George has more character than most people could ever hope to have. 2- Even the littlest things can bring pleasure to people.

Rip was an extremely honorable man and it was widely known throughout his village. Everyone knew and respected him for the man he was and held him in high regards. As stated in the text, “I have observed that he was a simple good natured man; he was moreover a kind neighbor, and an obedient, henpecked husband,” he was widely known for being a good man. Rip was always ready to drop what he was doing on a whim and immediately begin to do whatever he could to help someone. He stayed very humble and selfless and this was because of his sense of honor that he got from his
Douglass describes it as being good for his “soul”, meaning that the raw emotions he felt were so positive that they helped nourish the very core of his being, the thing that makes him who he is. That teaching his fellow-slaves was the most delightful thing he has ever done, even after he escaped and became free, there was nothing that could compare. Douglass was given the satisfaction and glee of knowing that at least some of his fellow-slaves learned to read, that they too might have this feeling of exuberance in teaching their own friends. So, the spread of knowledge to his brethren was not only good for Douglass and them, it was also good for all who were in bondage, for, the more slaves that educate themselves, the more slaves there are that will have a chance at escaping from bondage. In my opinion though, the best evidence that learning to read was good for Douglass, is this book itself.

Finny who is one of those attractive guys who everyone likes and is attracted to because of his good nature other than his rule breaking. Finny happens to be good at almost everything including getting out of trouble and sports. Gene can 't help but envy him.

Even if I had not read this story before, I would have picked up on the fact that this singular point would be a catalyst to the rest of the plot. 2. At the beginning of the novel, Tom describes himself as a very tolerant man who often moves people who generally keep to themselves to open up to him without much effort. Tom prides himself on reserving his judgment of others until he takes time to observe and get to know them. This is a quality he is obviously proud of as he makes a point to describe his habits surrounding this quality in depth.
