STATEMENT OF PURPOSE Most of the people have walked all around the world but only a few are remembered for their contributions to humanity. The greatest invention by man after Fire and Wheel would perhaps be the invention of Flight by Wright brothers for which they are greatly remembered. I would certainly not focused among the billions stars whose light never reaches Earth but rather than Sun who shines upon us every day. The world we live in has seen perennial discoveries by man. Perhaps the most significant of all the revolutions in the world is the field of Mechanical Engineering. This has already existed in our world, but took time for us to …show more content…
The State Board of Secondary Education syllabus inculcated in me a Numerical Problem solving skill for my engineering profession. Therefore after high school with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as my mains, I took up Mechanical Engineering at KL University as under graduation. An enormous number of challenges, thrown out by rapid development in Science and technology have made me choose engineering profession. The deep interest and passion for Manufacturing has led me to take Mechanical Engineering. It has given me a comprehensive exposure to the core areas of manufacturing, mechanics, Hydraulic Machines and Designing .It introduced me to a wide range of subjects, both in and outside the field. Various subjects like Manufacturing, designing and mechanics had a good …show more content…
My undergraduate education has made me particular about of two things - 'the knowledge of my aim ' and 'the means to achieve it '. I aim to contribute to the world of knowledge in my own small way. Graduate education, I believe, is training for research. While undergraduate study in Mechanical engineering has exposed me to a variety of fields in it, I am aware that it is only through study at the graduate level that I can acquire the knowledge and capabilities to carry out independent research. Throughout my undergraduate program, I have participated in workshops at my university, which helped me acquire varied yet firm foundation in Mechanical Engineering. But it was not enough to quench my urge to learn more, so to broaden my spectrum of knowledge I attended many other seminars held at other colleges and universities like “Manufacturing of Robot” at IIT Chennai, “Hover Craft” at NIT
The theme of Work, Exchange, and Technology is demonstrated throughout Chapter Fourteen; during the 1700s, many new forms of technology were made such as the steam engine which was created by James Watt. This new technology had a major impact on the Industrial Revolution and was capable of powering factories that are in cities. Farmers also had a huge impact on the Industrial Revolution; John Deere invented the steel plow and Cyrus McCormick invented the mechanical reaper. While these inventions were proven very useful, they also put
The 214 English hybrid course has got me into thinking more about constructing a strong thesis and creating solid topic sentences. Being able to identify my thesis has also helped my writing have better organization that helps the overall flow of my essay. With blogging incorporated into our academic criteria it was certainly something different. Blogging geared me into reading more articles and analysis the authors use of rhetorical devices. After this course I have gone more on magazine websites to read current topics.
Creating a life-changing concept can be a remarkable experience. Yet, how much would you be willing to give up for it? The Industrial Revolution, beginning in the 18th century, was the start of the world we know now. There was the creation of machines, developments in transportation, and many other inventions. These new ideas portray themselves as incredible, as though life was becoming simple, yet there are consequences to such changes.
Due to these facts, the Industrial Revolution is widely considered to be the greatest advancement in human history, although, upon closer examination, the
Our technology and the way people have lived their lives have advanced for the duration of many generations, because of the Industrial Revolution in England. Although people may have perceived that the Industrial Revolution incorporated many negative consequences for the society because of long-term injuries and illnesses, it was actually a positive step for the society. The Industrialization’s positive effects were increased productivity of industries, better financial opportunities, and population growth. Finally, these positive effects is what has led the advances of what the people of this generation have currently.
The only way to achieve a successful life is going to college and becoming educated. Post-secondary is a big decision most teenagers have to make .The importance of having a college degree could cost you a job. Most people overlook the difference in the amount of pay with having a college degree. Even though debt is the main reasons people steer away from college it can be paid off easily.
Introduction The world has seen a lot, but space exploration has had the most significant effect on the world since sugar. The space race and things like the Sputnik change the way the world thinks. While space exploration can be very expensive, space exploration has had the greatest effect on the world because it has exponentially changed the world in education, culture, global challenges, and has created life changing innovations for many people. The thought of "discovery" and "exploration" Space exploration has been the best thing since sugar because it brought the world together.
As machines grew in importance during this era, the number of scientific associations and educational institutions increased, and more scientists and engineers started to discuss how scientific knowledge could be applied to the manufacturing and agricultural processes. This was part of the communication revolution, as there was an immense amount of conversating between the people for better improvement in the world. For instance, mechanics and Newton’s scientific methods rose to height during this era, and this led to greater industrial successes and efficiency. Furthermore, inventions that came about during this era, such as the telephone and the automobile, had profound impacts on people’s lives. Previously limited by time and distance, sending information or travelling became easier and more accessible.
Over the last decade, we have seen pioneers like Elon Musk change how we view space travel. Mark Zuckerberg have revolutionized how people communicate and connect around the world. Today, we are experiencing our own version of the renaissance. We will continue to see groundbreaking discoveries would make history and change the course of humankind. We can only hope that new inventions and discoveries change the course of the world in a way the printing press did.
INTRODUCTION Most of the people consider that being a student is the most enjoyable and stress free part of our life. This is the stage where we are exploring different things in our environment. Being influenced by someone in good or in bad things. This is the stage wherein we have a lot of ambition or goals, that push our limits in order to achieve it in the future.

Very similar to real life engineering, we are tasked with designing and constructing various projects based on a set of requirements or problems. I have always been incredibly successful in this class achieving high marks, and in grade 11 receiving the award for the highest mark for my grade. Although not a prerequisite for any engineering programs, I believe that it greatly benefits all potential engineering students. It puts our teachings into practice to solve real life situations, giving us a preview into the future as engineers. Scheduling conflicts prevented me from taking this great course in grade 12.
My parents always stressed how we should do our best and have to work for the things we want. Growing up I learned this doesn’t come easy. As everything college is upon us I have reflected on these principles and pondered how I will come up with the money for my college education. The clear cut answer is scholarships. You will see in this essay that I am a worthy candidate for this scholarship.
Understanding that we cannot not fall behind is key but now lets set our minds to what can be achieved in this new quest. V. Body II a. With this new journey begins with us and our new discoveries. b. Just in our pursuit in this new frontier pushes our scientific minds to new limits and we begin to discover new technologies and advancements in our own world before we even reach the stars. c. We will begin to create new products from our own resources that are yet to be invented. We will become more advance and may find answers to some of the old problems we deal with in today’s world.
Right from my childhood days, I was always eager to know how things work in surroundings. When I was given toys, I hardly played with them rather tried to dismantle it and try to know the mechanism running it. During school days, I have participated in many science exhibitions which further motivated me towards taking my knowledge and experience onto a higher and advanced level. With this desire and curiosity to understand machines and mechanisms, I chose to complete my graduation in Mechanical Engineering.
