It is not a secret what a central role media plays in our lives. Nowadays it will be very difficult to find a single person who does not use media at all. In this paper, I am going to discuss and show the results of my one-week media implementation as well as to answer some questions, which will help me to understand the significance of the media in my life. To begin with, it should be noted that I am the kind of person who prefers face- to- face communication rather than virtual. This is maybe one of the reasons that I do not have my personal pages on Instagram, Twitter or in other social networks. If we calculate the minutes than we can say that I spent approximately two hours on Moodle and in Gmail together. Due to this monitoring, I have noticed that unlike summertime, during this one week I almost did not watch TV. However, because I am not alone at home so take it or leave it regardless of me I watched the news on TV daily from thirty to forty minutes and again in the evenings. Before applying to AUA, I moderately used Facebook, Youtube, and other social Medias and spent the majority of my time by watching TV. Moreover, I had no idea what Moodle actually is. However, today I incomparably more use all the above-mentioned media and vice versa almost do not watch TV. On reflecting on my media usage, the only thing that has surprised me was that I would not even think that I spend five to six hours daily on the Internet especially on Facebook. Nevertheless, due to this monitoring, I understood how important the Internet and media, in general, are without which we would not be able to get appropriate knowledge and be educated
