Doctors can save our life and give us life. Our health is important because it is how we live and stay in the right shape. Doctors keep us safe and healthy because when there is something wrong with our body, they can detect it and prescribe the medication that is needed for us to recover. Years ago, doctors didn’t have the training and test equipment they have today. We should be grateful for all the experienced doctors and medical teams in hospitals.
As a medical assistant I would ensure that the patient understands that this is a judgement free zone. I would also remind the patient that we are professionals and there to help them. Skin disorders are common, and no patient should feel embarrassed in a clinic or hospital setting. It is our job to calm and reassure the patient that we are there to Help. I would speak very calming to help calm the patient down themselves.
• If you were prescribed an antibiotic medicine, finish all of it even if you start to feel better. • There are many different ways to close and cover a wound, including stitches (sutures), skin glue, and adhesive strips. Follow your health care provider's instructions
I have always, like my dad, wanted to major in something in the medical field. Another reason why I want to become a nurse practitioner is that I have always had a passion about helping others. With this job I can communicate with the patients in their times of intense physical and mental sufferings. For example, If my patients are scared of getting a surgery, I could educate them that surgery is not always a bad choice. I would explain the procedure of the operation in a way that they could fully comprehend.
My personal goal is simply to be successful, and I don't mean money but to be happy with myself and what I have been able to accomplish. Whatever I choose to do I simply want to enjoy it, to be good at it, and to continue bettering myself. Becoming a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner is my goal and I know in some few years to come I would have a Phd degree in nursing. I would like to help, be a huge part and play a role of success in the nursing field. Working for a major children's hospital has always been my dream and making a difference within the hospital would be my ideal goal of professional success.
My personal characteristics, experiences, and professional and personal goals both align with those promoted by the National Academy of Kinesiology and will greatly contribute to my success in the field of kinesiology and ultimately, as a physical therapist. Some of my most prominent characteristics include my compassion, empathy, and caring nature. My desire to relate and build relationships will aid me when interacting with patients and provide a comfortable environment to perform my duties in the field of Kinesiology. Many of these traits originate from my personal experience as a patient. After a serious injury I was advised to cease all physical activity, and I was desperate to find anything with the possibility of getting me back to doing what I loved again.
Also, I have dreams of owning my own business and building my own brand at the same time. I want clients to understand I care about my business but I care about them as well. By pursuing a career in Kinesiology it will allow me to communicate with people. I take pride in helping others with your healthy lifestyle and mental
That is how I initially begun picking this major. Second, Another reason made me pick this major is that I feel inside of me that I can do something useful for humanity by this job, I have the feeling that I can probably add something to this career. I am always wishing to wear the white coat and be called by doctor, it is not just a dream, it is my life for me. I believe I have the ability to deal with patients and help them. Medicine has many branches and field, personally I love dealing with eyes and vision.
The field of medicine and healthcare has always appealed to me from a young age. Specifically, I became fascinated with the causes of illnesses, an interest that fueled my need to research and satisfy my curiosity. Throughout my academic path, I have focused on getting closer to my goals and have worked diligently. Indeed, my passion for becoming a Physician Assistant (PA) was solidified after I gained experience shadowing a physician and became a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). I believe that becoming a PA is the right path for me as it would provide me with the opportunity to serve those in need, and also allow for patient interaction and connection.
I have been interested in the medical field for as long as I can remember. Although I am intrigued by the human body and everything that it can do, I have a passion for providing care. I firmly believe that the desire I have to help is what determined my decision to pursue nursing. When I graduate and obtain my baccalaureate degree, I hope to begin my journey in the Emergency Room or in the Labor and Delivery Unit. I am attracted to the E.R.
Internal medicine physicians with whom I have worked have demonstrated for me the importance of compassionate patient care, a broad understanding of health issues, to take my decisions independently and the ability to treat the whole patient. I am applying to your program because I am confident that it can provide me with what I am looking for in a program - advanced medical technologies, knowledge-driven environment, research opportunities and most importantly diversity in residents, where I get a chance to build life-long friendships with my colleagues. While I know I cannot predict the future, 5 years from now my goal is to continue my training with a cardiology fellowship, though I am willing to consider other fellowships as well depending on my exposure. I truly believe that your program will help me become a fantastic physician. I feel I am ready to work for it and earn it, no matter what specialty I ultimately decide to

I am interested in serving on SHAB because I have a passion for healthcare and serving others. As a Health Science major on the Pre-PA track, I want to educate myself holistically on healthcare issues to better myself, and thus the community. I did not know of the services and resources the SHCC has when I first arrived on campus, and feel that in serving on the board, I can eliminate this lack of knowledge to incoming students and current students to promote a healthier and safer university community. I would like to give back to the my community, become more involved on campus, learn about the healthcare field, collaborate with others, and challenge myself, and feel that SHAB is a great opportunity to do so. A value that I would bring to SHAB would be respect.
Morehouse School of Medicine is an appealing option for pursuing my medical education. When reading Morehouse’s mission statement, improving the health and well-being of individuals and communities grasped my attention. My clinical experiences revolve around communities that are underserved, and sharing the same mission as Morehouse is key to becoming the physician I aspire to be. One of the things that stood out to me about Morehouse is the student run Good Samaritan Health Center. I am very interested about being involved with God Samaritan, because it is akin to the Siloam Family Health Center that I volunteer at, and it is an embodiment of Morehouse’s mission.
I have always had an empathetic drive to assist those in need, and I know that with trauma surgery, I would be able to resuscitate suffering lives. Although, most people would turn away, the idea of holding someone’s future in my hands captivates me. I truly am enticed by the idea that I can improve the lives of many people, such as saving them in order for them to live another day, and allowing them to walk again. The incident inspired me
