Ever since I was a little kid I have always remember christmas being my favorite holiday during the beautiful winter season with the snow, the hot chocolate, the sleigh riding, the good laughs with the family and especially the never ending supply of gifts. As christmas approaches I always saw this as a time to escape the real world that was covered in darkness and hatred and to join something that was much more lighter and happier. These moments that I Nicholas, get to spend with my family such as people like my aunts, uncles, grandparents and cousins. This holiday is very special to me and my family because we come together to share the happiest moments filled with joy and laughter.

When I was younger and just started doing the snowball wars it was much easier for me to do well because no one would try and throw anything at me because of my side but now that I was older it was time my uncles started to try more. Before we begun our snowball fight we broke into two teams, team one consisted of my uncle Jordan and I and the other team consisted of my two other uncles Derek and Justin whom all played baseball up until college and where pitchers. Both teams had a 10 minute grace period to make their own separate forts and gather snowballs luckily we already had a fort due to the snow truck plowing snow up on the corner near the road the day before. As we reached our final seconds till we begun I gathered my side of the snowballs as well as my uncle did and the second I stood up to peak my head over i received a powerful blow to the face from a snowball that was actually hardened by ice. Down to the floor I went quickly covering the left side of my face where my eye at this point I knew I wasn 't ready to play with the older crowd just

Also, I almost got hit and buried by snow bricks that were as hard as rocks. After this outing, I finally got the idea of why people learn by making mistakes because mistakes allow us to remember what is right and what is wrong. At first, I entered the car that I was assigned to. Our car was so crowded that I can barely stretch my legs. The two other scouts told me that they wore nothing inside their snow pants except their boxers.

The Grinch Who Stole Christmas The Grinch who stole Christmas is one of my favorite Dr. Seuss books and one of my favorite Christmas movies. I found 3 things similar to one another in the book and the movie which had the Grinch who hated Christmas, the Who’s who loved Christmas, and the Grinch stole all of the presents and food. One identical thing I found in the movie and book was that the Grinch hated Christmas. If they didn’t put the Grinch’s hate for Christmas in both the book and, he would have no reason to steal Christmas and it wouldn’t have been a very good movie.
