It was the winter I could feel the freezing cold air on my face the slippery ice as I walked around on the street that meant it was winter. down the hill into a big pile of cold snow it was so cold I could hear my little brother laughing as I crashed into the snow I started laughing as well it was a fun time.I noticed how big the hill was and how the snow looked like marshmallows after I was done sledding I got my friends and we had a huge snowball fight the snowballs exploded into a million pieces. We saw a ton of snow and we decided to have a competition of who could build the best couch out of snow I made a two person couch with arm rest that have cupholders I won the competition. Sadly I had to go inside because it was getting dark when I went inside I had hot cocoa and cookies they smelt sweet and tasted sweeter. It was the end of the day and I said hopefully tomorrow would be the exact same. It was a hot summer day and I had to wake up early to go to a baseball game and it was going to be one of our last games …show more content…
When I went up to bat the machine was getting ready to throw the ball and I hit the ball and made it to first another hit got me to second we were all ready to run to the next base and a batter on our team steps up and he hits the ball into the outfield we made it to home but the batter only made it to 2nd base we kept going and going until the ninth inning we were all tied up and someone on the other team hit the ball and made it to 1st the next kid struck out and the third kid hit it in the air and I caught it and then it was our turn to hit and we scored 2 points and we won the game we celebrated salty chips it was a close game but we pulled through in the end. Finally, it was summer and summer is the best part of the year, no school we could do anything we wanted. Skip forward a few weeks and me and my family traveled to Florida we went to the beach and we went to Disney world and had a ton of fun we rode every ride and met every character there we went to lunch after that and we ate chicken it was good you could smell it and want to eat it right away. It was a cool afternoon in the frosty month of January, the time was around 5:30 pm and my dad just dropped me off at the Snow Valley hill in his black Mitsubishi Lancer. I took my blueish green Burton Custom snowboard from the back of the car, grabbed my helmet, gloves, jacket and snowpants and went to the bottom of the hill. There, I placed my board on the soft snow and put on my
“The winning home run”. It was a Friday night at Dodger stadium a really cold night at that time i was only 11 years old in the year 2011. My Dad and I went to watch our favorite baseball team the Los Angeles Dodgers. It was the Dodgers vs the Calorado Rockies the Dodgers were going for thier second straight sweep so my Dad and I knew the stadium was going to be full of screaming, loud and mad fans. As my Dad and I arrived we were getting out the car when we see the giant lines of Dodger fans trying to get into the stadium just to try to get a ball from batting practice from the Dodgers .
Also, I almost got hit and buried by snow bricks that were as hard as rocks. After this outing, I finally got the idea of why people learn by making mistakes because mistakes allow us to remember what is right and what is wrong. At first, I entered the car that I was assigned to. Our car was so crowded that I can barely stretch my legs. The two other scouts told me that they wore nothing inside their snow pants except their boxers.
It had been a long day at the softball field and everyone on my team was exhausted. We had won every game that we had played that day. We had made it to the championship and we're ready to win. I was the pitcher so I had an important duty, to pitch as best as I could.
Since it was winter time, and it was snowing, there was neither football or baseball, so they decided to throw snowballs at passing cars. They finally hit the wrong car at a fun time. The man that was driving a Buick pulled over and came to a complete stop when the snowball hit his windshield. He jumped out of the car, and chased after them until he finally caught them. They all stood
So I was up at the plate and the count was 1-1. And I just see the ball right down the middle and I just destroyed the baseball. And I just hear the crack of the bat. And I just see the baseball going over the center fielder's head going over the fence.
The Golf Ball Sized Dent Clonk! That’s the sound of my scooter crashing into my dad’s car the only running thing through my head was uh oh. It was a nice day around 80 degrees only about two clouds I could see. My mom had kicked me out of the house to go play outside.
When we got off the ski lift the soft snow from the day had turned into hard and slick ice. As we went down the mountain I had to concentrate on where I was going and had to keep my balance. It was very hard the wind was ice cold and felt like sandpaper was being dragged across my face. My brother on the other hand, had to go down the mountain without his goggles because throughout the day his goggles had frozen over. At the end of the day I was red faced and sore ankles as I fell into
The drive was almost unbearable, but the thought of spending the week in the snow with family kept me going. It was only a four hour drive, but at 9 years old, it felt like an eternity. The scenery slowly changed from flat land, to rolling hills. The hills were covered in yellow dying grass, but they were still beautiful. Then we started to make the climb.
The ice cold snow melts onto my face, I laugh at myself and hope to god the people around me didn’t see that. No one was paying attention to me they all had this type of confidence and excitement to learn and grow. I stood back up and headed down the hill with all force, not knowing how to turn I abruptly put my snowboard on healedge and slammed to a stop. Little did I know I was already halfway down the hill.
The day had finally come, I was going to the Wilson’s house, it was a cold January afternoon and once I arrived Heidi wanted to go sledding. The snow hill was on the other side of the neighborhood so we had to walk, we were only there for an hour or two before we got bored Heidi wanted to go into the woods because there was a little-frozen pond that Heidi liked to jump on and watch all the pieces break around her, don’t ask why because I am not really sure. We stayed at the pond for awhile and then we found and are of the woods that we could build a play structure in. We were in the woods for what felt like forever.
Then we put boots on the dogś feet because the sweat on their paws can freeze up and hurt the dogs in the snow. The last thing we did was to hook the dogs up to the sled. All the dogs seemed so excited. They were all smiling and barking in excitement. As we rode around the snow, we saw a lot of dog poo and dead birds which made the snow all sorts of colors.
The day came it was early morning, bird singing, warm temperature, and a beautiful blue sky perfect weather. I woke up and it was fishing time, I was so excited. I remember my room being so messy and my parents told me to clean before we left, so I did. I was so excited that I cleaned my room and did some other chores around the house so fast cause I just wanted to go fishing. We got to the car and left to rocky mountain at our fishing spot and I was just being like most annoying kid would say, "Where are we?", "Are we lost?", and "Are we there yet?
The day was just after my brother’s birthday and we had just finished celebrating his birthday. My brother was more surprised, however, by the amount of snow that covered the yards outside. We both awoke to a sight much more impressive than that of December, a white landscape obscuring everything laying on the ground, including the cars. My brother and I changed faster than firemen getting ready for a rescue, as we ran outside to see the fascinating snow that surrounded our neighborhood.
We were invited to a friends going away party that day, so we went. While we were there, the atmosphere was so exciting; everyone was laughing, smiling, making new friends, and just having a good time all around. My friend had invited my brother and I to go outside and play on the swings and we did. We challenged each other to see who could go the highest and talked for a little bit, until I felt a buzz in the back pocket of my jeans. It was my phone, so I pulled it out to see who was ringing me.
