Out of the two world wars, World War II is known to be the bloodiest and brutal war. The main reason this is to believed is because to the Holocaust. The Holocaust was the time period where many were persecuted for their beliefs and race. Hitler is who is to blame for the Holocaust, he is the one who organized all the horrific things done to the people who did not fall under his Master Race. Despite the many theories about the purpose of the Holocaust, the real purpose make those who weren’t members of the Master Race fear the Nazi Regime, to force them to obey the Nazi’s without question.
Europeans turned on their friends because of the poisonous message the government was preaching. During the Holocaust, Jews and Germans used armed and unarmed forms of resistance to retain their humanity. Oskar Schindler, a rich german man, help save thousands of lives without armed forces. Unarmed forms of resistance can be just as, or better than, armed resistance. “During World War II, Schindler rescued more than 1,000 Jews from deportation to Auschwitz, Nazi
Among the other countries, Germany was certainly not the only one to use propaganda against the unwanted. Hitler’s hatred for the Jews influenced other countries to see propaganda. Hitler blamed the Jewish people for their loss of World War I, also for prolonging the war to gain wealth, and using the constitutional democracy to weaken the politics of the nation; and through the use of propaganda , he used the Jews as a scapegoat or as a group of people for germany's defeat in World War one. Hitler using propaganda convinced thousands of people that is was ok to kill countless Jews and many others. In the book the rize of the Nazis, it is stated “Goldhagen suggests that the nazi were expert propagandist, using their talents to convince ordinary germans that jews were the enemies of national socialism”the nazis were among the most sophisticated and innovative users of propaganda in history¨ The definition of propaganda is “ ideas, facts, or allegations spread deliberately to further one’s cause or to damage an opposing cause¨ according to the website www.merriam-webster.com Propaganda use can be exploited through art,
They hated anyone who was of Jewish decent. The reason for this is because he thought that the German race was superior to everyone else. There are many strategies that Adolf Hitler used during the war to control the Jews and to ensure that the Nazi Germans were following and obeying his rules, regulation and policies. The main way that Hitler controlled the Jews was through force and terror. One of these strategies was concentration camps.
Adolf Hitler, “implemented these laws to ostracize, discriminate and expel Jews from German society” (3) Diverse culture was rejected. Physically, the people of Germany, mostly jews, were affected because of Hitler trying to make the population one master race. He believed aryans were this “master race” as he believed the grew to have good health strength and overall, good characteristics unlike Jews
“If you win, you need not have to explain...If you lose, you should not be there to explain!” ― Adolf Hitler The leader and founder of the Nazi party, Adolf Hitler wrote a book called Mein Kampf. This book describes his plan to annihilate the Jewish population. In many countries in Europe Hitler's book is banned. The books ban was just lifted in Germany and will now be sold to the public. The book should be permanently banned for the respect of the victims of the Holocaust.
The groupthink, or group mentality theory occurs when the majority of the group follows a certain ideal or idea, and causes individuals who might have thought otherwise to support the majority’s conclusions. This has never been more prevalent then in one of the most horrifying events in history: the Holocaust. The events of the Holocaust baffled the world – no one could understand how Hitler convinced thousands of German soldiers to murder millions of innocent Jewish citizens. The world could not understand how a sophisticated and refined European country could follow a mindset that systematically eradicated generations of people for the sole reason that they practiced a certain religion (Tindale, Munler, Wasserman & Smith, 2002). The largest contributor to the events that took place during the Holocaust are the effects of conformity.
The Holocaust was a period of time where around six million Jews were killed. When rising to power, Hitler 's main focus was to blame the Jews for the variety of problems Germany was facing at the time. The German people would accept the anti semitic claims and would start to create a deadly reaction against the European Jewish community. The Nazis believed that Jews were the problem, and it needed to be solved by removing them. The mass killings of the Holocaust were what Hitler called "The Final Solution".
Then Ben survived the World War 2. During this times Ben came across a lot of challenges but was able to live through them with courage. At the end of World War 1, Hitler had turned most of Europe against the Jewish people for all of Europe 's problems. According to the text, “Eliminate the Jews,” Hitler proclaimed, “and you will eliminate all of Germany 's problems!” (7) Also, on page 7 the author said “...Germany 's leader, Adolf Hitler, is plotting the annihilation of Europe 's 9.5 million Jews.” That started the brutal holocaust and killing many innocent Jews. Ben faced several serious challenge during World War 2.
Speer, as Hitler’s ‘closest’ friend, the Party’s head architect and the Nazi Party’s Minister for Armaments is clear that he was eminently involved in the plan to exterminate the Jewish race, to thus achieve Hitler’s dream of a pure Aryan race. Why was Albert Speer named the ‘Good Nazi’ after the Nuremberg Trials, denying all knowledge of the ‘Final Solution’, but accepted responsibility for actions of the regime? His true lying ability is expressed in these word “of all the dreadful things, I knew nothing”. There were many events that express Speer’s involvement in Anti-Semitic movements, and his ability to liar towards his participation in any of it: 1. Architect - ‘Germania’ strengthened the relationship between Speer and Hitler – a project involving the removal of thousands of Jews into camps.
“Those who want to live, let them fight, and those who do not want to fight in this world of eternal struggle do not deserve to live.” -Hitler. These words spoken by Hitler were the end of Jews. But I bet you didn’t know that he wasn 't the main reason the Holocaust happened. The Top SS Officers, The Allies and Hitler were the reasons the Holocaust happened. “ Dr. Mengele, the notorious Dr. Mengele.
Did you know that eleven million people died in the holocaust? Six million of those people were Jews. The Jews were captured and taken to concentration camps because the Nazis simply hated them. Concentration camps were made to kill off all of the Jews. They did this because they saw them as a problem to Germany.
The Nazis saw themselves as superior and felt as though other races or ethnicities did not deserve to coexist. In Adolf Hitler’s last will and political testament, which was dictated in a bunker in German territory, he blamed the war on “International Jewry and its helpers.” He strongly pleaded with the German people to “follow the strict observance of the racial laws and with merciless resistance against the universal poisoners of all peoples.” Hitler was obviously disturbed and the next day, he committed suicide (“The Holocaust”). The two genocidal events convey the thought of racial dominance and viewing the victims as less human than that of the hostile party. In Rwanda, the Hutus were responsible for committing the majority of the atrocities as they killed thousands and systematically raped women and young girls (O’Donnell 3). To Adolf Hitler, the Jewish people were an inferior race, “an alien threat to German racial purity and community”(“The Holocaust”).
In the early 1940s, Adolf Hitler told Germany the single story of his opinions of the Jewish race. His single story led Germany to blame Jews, persecute Jews, and kill Jews. You would think the nation would stand against wrongdoings, but most were brainwashed by Hitler’s perspective, and the rest, cowards. Germany was manipulated to think a certain way, without caring to hear what the Jews had to say, and ultimately reacted in a harmful way to the Jews. You may ask, why is this important?
The Holocaust. That may just be words to some people, but to others, this was the most devastating thing ever to happen to one human race. The Holocaust happened because Hitler blamed Jewish people for losing World War I. The Holocaust was mostly to get rid of people that Hitler didn’t see as the superior race. The superior race was blond hair and blue eyes.
