The de facto mental health service system is were a mental disorders and mental health problems are treated by variety of caregivers who work in diverse, relatively independent, and coordinated facilities and services both public and private. This system is described in four sectors. The specialty mental health sector consists of mental health professionals such as psychiatrist, psychologists, psychiatric nurses, community mental health outreach workers, and psychiatric social workers who are trained specifically to treat people with mental disorders.
