My car required new front tires and an alignment at only 10,500 miles. My car has a computer which indicates when its first service should take place. Mine indicated it wanted service at 10,500 miles and after 15 months of ownership. When I took it in for service the dealer pointed out unusual wear on my left front tire and said both fronts had to be replaced and an alignment performed. I insisted that it be under warranty as something had to be wrong with the car. Particularly since they said 3 times that normally rear tires wear out before front ones do. The dealer said no because the car had been in service for more than 12 months. After the tires and alignment done, I took the matter up with Mercedes Customer Service in NJ. They impolitely told me to drop dead. I think their attitude was awful and their decision not to reimburse me was Teutonic and arrogant in the extreme. Least favorite feature: Absence of CD changer. Only one cup holder? Advice to buyer: Drive the CLK 320 AND 500 back to back. Go for the extra grunt and appearance. Detailed review: This car is awesume. You will love the performance and braking. Be careful and watch your speed, since you are moving faster than you think... The absence of the B pillar makes a stunning appearance package. Watch your friends drool when when you drop the windows down from the key fob.
