In 1969 the Jackson 5 had the attention of the Motown founder, Berry Gordy, who was impressed by them and had them signed to his label. Some time after the signing, the Jackson 5 moved to LA. Gordy and Diana Ross of the Supremes, aloud the Jackson 's to lived with them. In August of 1969, the Jackson 5 was met first hand to the music industry and seen what it was all about. So after, the Jackson 5 performed their opening act for the Supremes. In December of 1969, their very first album, “Diana Ross Presents the Jackson 5” was a big hit in the charts with their single “I Want You Back”
