I am a firm believer in achieving my goals because I know that they will reflect on my future. At times, I may fail but I do not let that stop me from trying. Instead, I let it teach me a lesson and push myself even harder to do better the next
[A]Everyone wants to be something and do something remarkable, and be something bigger than themselves. How does hopes, dreams and goals affect people’s daily lives? [B]The desire to be someone and do something aspires everyone.[B] The will to do what needs to be done to fulfill that desire, however varies from person to person, because they set limitations for themselves. [C]With hopes, dreams and goals those limitations can be relieved.[D] Hopes, dreams, and goals demand that people give their all and strive to become more than they or others expect them to be.
Antoine de Saint-Exupéry once said, “A goal without a plan is just a wish.” Throughout my life I have always set goals and worked extremely hard to achieve them. Planning realistic goals give me clarity on what I ultimately want. It makes me crystallize and articulate the desires floating in my mind. Setting goals have always helped me achieve my highest potential.
Sometimes, if you don’t reach the goal you have anticipated, you can land amongst something close to it. It is not the actual dream that we should aspire to achieve, but rather how much of ourselves are we willing to sacrifice in order to obtain it. It is in dreaming and the ability to be diligent that makes us exercise our potential to the fullest capacity. It is the ability to see beyond the reality we are in that gives us hope. It is our relentless strife in becoming the best version of ourselves that makes us virtuous.
To dream is to desire an achievement which seems unobtainable. Most everyone has trouble convincing themselves that their dreams are within reach. Jim Carrey once said, “So many of us choose our path out of fear disguised as practicality.” This is a result of allowing dreams to remain dreams and, instead, opting to take a more reliable path. In doing so, a sense of emptiness that never completely dies out is often developed.
While material success is still a part that defines the dream, the most important foundation of the dream lies in self-satisfaction. Life will be better and richer and fuller for each person if they choose
Yet alone do you think that our society would be able to grow past their old lives if they hadn’t set goals for themselves to achieve? If it hasn’t been made clear enough already, dreams are vital to the development of everyone no matter what the case may
Goals, what are goals? Goals, for some, are the driving force that help people get out of bed in the morning. For others, it’s the objective that keeps them focused on attaining something they may initially not have thought possible. For me, my goal to become a law enforcement officer, is what keeps me pushing forward. I push forward through the struggles, the obstacles that are in my way.
Everyone has a dream. Although these dreams aren’t the ones you have while sleeping, they are the ones that drive you, challenge you and keep you fighting for the reality that they will become true. They are the dreams that you will work hard for. Martin Luther King Jr. even died while fighting for his dream to become a reality. They are the ones you hope will one day become a reality.
A dream can be defined as a strong desired goal or purpose that a person has. Many people have a dream that they want to accomplish in life, but never get the chance to do it. People are either too busy with work, a family, or they do not have the money to start their dream. Today people see others accomplish their dreams all the time on TV shows like The Voice, Master Chef, and American Idol. The novel Of Mice and Men, written by John Steinbeck shows that during the Great Depression dreams were desired, but very hard to attain.
The term, “American dream,” was first used by historian James Truslow Adams. James stated that the American dream was, “That dream of a land in which life should be better and richer and fuller for every man, with opportunity for each according to his ability or achievement.” Although the quote states a perfect definition of the American dream, this term can be interpreted in several ways. The American dream is achieving a goal that before was seen as impossible or unlikely, making a decision that could improve the life of future descendants, and having goals that you want to accomplish.
Setting smaller goals is nice because they are like stepping stones to my bigger goals. The reason I am so motivated to go to college is because I have the opportunity to be the first in my family to attend college. Seeing my parents struggle with money because they can’t get a decent paying job is one of the reasons I desire to go to college. I know by going to college, and doing what I love, I will be able to enjoy what I’m doing while being able to have a improved life than I had experienced.
A large number of athletes and coaches have given inspirational speeches on having goals in life, and striving to achieve those goals. It is always important to have a goal in
Dreams are very important because without dreams there’s nothing to live for, no motivation, and overall loss of interest in all of life. To achieve in life, goals need to be created and pursued. It does not matter how big or small, as long as it helps fulfill life. Even the most successful people have dreams. Without dreams the same continuous routines of daily life will not be as enjoyable.
Dreaming is a huge part of people’s lives. Dreams happen to everybody and are different to everybody. They tell a lot about a person’s life. Dreams are viewed differently by so many people. People have opinions on what makes dreams happen, what dreams are, and what they mean.
