To me, this quote means to live life to the fullest and do not take anyone or anything for granted. Michelle Phan, the person who wrote this quote is a beauty guru on YouTube. She had inspired not only myself but many other Asians around the world about makeup, beauty, fashions and many more other subject through her youtube channel and other sources. Michelle Phan is a beauty guru who inspired not only myself but many Asians in the world. She is not only a beauty guru but also a vlogger and a youtube phenomen. "When you're a little girl and people ask what you want to be when you grow up, no one says beauty guru. Or vlogger. Or Youtube phenomeon. Here I was, all three those things..." (Phan Pg15). In her book, she stated that she had go to the point where she followed her instinct to create, share and connect with her audience. (Phan pg15). There was no guide books or a roadmap, or mentor to ask for any career advice. She was on her own and it became an hobby. Her parents were both Vietnamese. They named her Michelle and gave her a Vietnamese name that is translated in English as avalanche (Phan youtube). She also have a supportive brother named Steve. Her family moved a lot. They went from Boston, New York, to San Francisco, California and to Otampo, Flordia. Even though it is only three different city and state, they still moved to different apartments in different areas. Her childhood was bumpy because of that.
