The time differences between the Middle ages and Society now is totally different. In most different areas things have changed over a period of time such as art, society, and religion these things have changed because of other people have been influenced to different things. Within those time frames society has made a great leap into creativity such as government and how to organize living for themselves and improving education for their society. The Middle Ages were a time where kings and nobles owned the land and serfs worked with little pay. Serfs were like slaves that worked on a farm (Doc. 1). They got one day to farm for themselves and the other six they were working for their king or noble (OI). Nobles and kings had knights called vassals (OI). Vassals were knights who protected and served kings and nobles in exchange for land (OI).
The Middle Ages was a period that lasted from about 500 to 1500(OI). There were kings and queens, nobles, knights, and peasants (Doc. 1). People were treated and respected differently according to their class(OI). There were special relationships and responsibilities that everyone had. In the Middle Ages feudalism affected people’s lives economically, socially, and politically.

The Middle ages was the period of time after the Roman Empire fell, and when the Europeans rebuilt themselves. The Middle ages, or Medieval Period, spanned from about years 500 to 1500. During this time, a new society began to appear. This new society had roots in the classical heritage of Rome, the beliefs of the Roman Catholic Church, and the customs of Germanic tribes. Many things were involved in the rebuilding of this society, such as religion, culture and most importantly, geographical location, government, and economics.
The Middle Ages was the time period after the fall of the Roman Empire around 500 CE to the 1350’s. During this time the Roman Catholic Church and the Pope held the most power throughout Europe, the priests often lived in a closed area inside the walls of the monasteries. “Schools were few. Illiteracy was widespread” (Background essay) because of this average person of this time was illiterate .and more than 85 percent of the population were farmers and peasants called serfs and they worked in an estate for the owner called the lord.

The Middle ages started between 500 and 1500, which was split into different sections: the Early and High/Late Middle ages. The earliest part of the Middle Ages were also known as the ‘Dark Ages,’ which reigned between 476 to 1100 roughly. This started after the fall of the Roman Empire, which took most of Europe in a period of decline, dominantly Western Europe; including modern day England, France, Spain, Germany, Spain, Italy, and others. Following the collapse of the last empire, the economy and structure of government/society had collapse, causing many to fall back into small farming societies. On top of that, many invaders such as the Viking, Magyars, Germanic tribes, and Muslim invaders put them into a further primitive state.
The middle ages brought very few books because the monks would spend month’s hand writing copies of religious writings which made the books immensely expensive. Document B states that “Man think sin in the beginning full sweet, which in the end causeth thy soul to weep, when the body lieth in clay” (Doc B) that means that if you were to commit a sin it will catch up to you in the future and you will have to pay the price. That quote basically sums up the thought on how the middle ages worked. The difference on how literature changed the way man thought during the renaissance was because people realized they didn’t have to always right about religion, they were open to write about anything they wanted to which made them smarter and important. Science during the renaissance played a big impact on how people looked at the universe and the environment we live in.
The medieval times lasted from the 6th century to the 16th century. The medieval era wasn 't a pleasant time for people to be alive as it was a time were punishments and trials were really harsh and dangerous. During this time, it was easy for people to commit a crime. Crimes that are now seen as something insignificant were perceived as a horrible offence such as sleeping on the streets and talking behind peoples back. The society in the medieval times were organized by the feudal System.
In the Middle Ages, the power of people impacted the society, because of the Feudal System. In other words, the rankings of people. There were four groups. The Kings and Queens were at the top, then the nobles, the knights, and last peasants and serfs(Doc. 1). Serfs and peasants had very little land given and they even had to provide food that they farmed for the knights and nobles.
People in our world, whether it’s in the past or present, are constantly influenced by their surroundings. They live their lives based on what’s around them and how they are brought up. The people in the Middle Ages were often exposed to a variety of different things that affected what they did. Their relationships with one another, and the way they were brought up to interact with each other greatly modified each individual’s lives. In addition to that, their daily jobs affected how they lived as well.
Like the Ancient Egyptians, the Middle Ages used things like animal products in their medicine recipes and treatment. The people of the Middle Ages used natural-like treatments(like natural remedies.), which the ancient Egyptians also did. The Ancient Egyptians did surgery a similarity to the people of the Middle Ages, though the Ancient Egyptians knew more than the Middle Ages they had very similar techniques to them. They wrote down all of their information in books like the “Book of Surgery” (by Ancient Egyptians), which the people of the Middle Ages also did. When people had a broken bone they would set the bone(both cultures did this.)
A Comparison of Elizabethan England and Modern-Day England The Elizabethan Era is often considered the ‘Golden Age’ or ‘Renaissance’ of English History. It was called Elizabethan simply because it coincided with Queen Elizabeth I’s rule. It was a generation of expansion of ideas and flowering of poetry, music, and literature and it greatly contributed to the theatre field.
As you can see, there is not much difference from the Middle Ages. But rather, how each timeline handles each type of problem or concept as a whole, which is why it seems to be better in the time we live in today. Because at this time, women are starting to have equal rights, entrepreneurs are changing the world with their products and services, the government isn’t as corrupt and we didn’t have to pay money to get a reservation in
